Lightweight versatile baselayer!

I enjoyed how breathable and lightweight this baselayer top was for a variety of activities including snow sports and winter hiking. Wore this recently as part of my snowboarding winter gear and as a sleeping/hiking layer for multi-day backpacking (pretty odor resistant). It works as a great hiking layer for California winters but provides limited warmth as a stand alone piece and would be most useful for layering underneath other layers for snow and colder weather. Features/Fit: Packs small and lightweight yet soft. Thoughtful thumb loop feature in the sleeves but fit slightly more loose over hands. Overall fiit was pretty comfortable - typically wear XS/S for tops sizing (wore a size 6)

A shoulder season must have!

This is the ultra-thin base layer I didn’t know I needed! I have a number of thicker base layers, but this lightweight one really fit the bill for shoulder season in Colorado. I’ve worn this backcountry and downhill skiing, as well as on a chilly 5k run that rolled straight into a full day of resort skiing. I was thrilled to stay dry and stink-free all day! The thumb loops are perfect for layering. The print is super cute and perfect for apres (I received a few compliments on it in the village when I was getting drinks with friends) and it mixes and matches well with a lot of my other gear. It has also held up really well in the wash so far. This base layer does run a bit small. I’m 5’2” ~110 lbs and could have sized up to a 6 from a 4 because it’s fairly tight on me. Overall awesome product from a fantastic company that cares about empowering women and ethically sources their material.

Cute multi sport base layer

An overall great base layer! I’ve used this snowboarding, hiking, and road cycling. It’s comfortable, it doesn’t make my arms itch like some tighter base layers, and breathable. Most importantly, it didn’t ride up during any activity! Based on the measurements, I think it runs a little on the tighter side, but I’m still very happy with the fit, going off of the measurements. (I got a size 8 and am 5’11”, 165lbs.) The colorful design on the sleeves make the shirt great for apres too :)

lightweight, comfy, but only 7% merino

This product is only 7% merino, I feel like the description is a bit misleading stating it is a merino blend. The material breakdown is 52% repreve recycled poly (unifi), 34% bio polyester, 7% merino wool, and 7% spandex. Aside from that this is a nice comfy and lightweight base layer. The black color on the top and bottom feels breathable and soft. The pattern area feels a slightly more of a “scratchy” feel. I really like the thumb holes on the top. Looking forward to using this on the slopes. I ordered a size 10 and it fits great, for reception I am 5’2” with a short torso and larger chest, and weigh 181 lbs.

Perfect Super Light Base Layer

I tend to feel pretty warm when participating in outdoor fall/winter activities. This is my first time using this brand. This lightweight and breathable top runs slightly snug/form fitting and may require a sports bra to be comfortable in the chest area. The sleeves feel compressive but not restrictive. I wore this top in 30-degree weather with light rain, insulated bibs, and a semi-insulated coat. I was able to keep warm while putting protective material on pine tree saplings to prevent deer from eating them. This top lived up to its promise of moisture-wicking, form-fitting, and not getting snagged on anything while working on outdoor projects. I am 5’5 and 120 lbs, 34 chest area, I got a size 6. If you like form fitting, I recommend getting your exact size, but if you want a bit of extra space, I’d recommend sizing up.

Great shirt

Love this shirt! The wool wasn’t so itchy like many other wool shirts and I have actually been able to wear it all day without wanting to immediately change when I get home. It’s a perfect thickness for staying toasty on the cold days as a layer while skiing but light enough that it’s not too hot to wear on its own on a warmer day hiking. The shirts thumb holes make it easy to layer up over it or keep your sleeves down for an extra cozy feel. I’ve gotten compliments on the shirt every time I’ve worn it. I’m 5’4” and 165-175 pounds and got the size 8. It’s a little snug on my arms but not overly so.

runs small

I bought the thicker version of Wild Rye’s Evie raglan top in size 8 and absolutely love it! (I’m fairly fit but have large breasts.) When I saw a sale on the lite version, I grabbed one. So I was very disappointed to find that size 8 in the lite version runs much smaller and it’s too tight. Since the lite version is also much thinner and more see-through, that excessive tightness matters a lot. I know this is meant as a base layer, but I want to be able to take off my outer layer if necessary and not be embarrassed. I recommend ordering at least one size up.

Only 7% wool, very tight arms

I wanted to love this top so much- the purple pomegranate is really pretty! I bought a size 6, which is my usual top size, and unfortunately it's very tight in the arms. I was also disappointed with the low wool content (I didn't read the description very well I guess!). It feels nice and soft, and is probably good for high output activities. The thumbholes felt too high up, or that the sleeves were a little short for me (pretty average arm length as far as I know), so I wouldn't end up using those. Still on the fence about keeping this, since it is so pretty, but I know if I use it for non-ski activities, it will inevitably get stained from mud within a few wears.
