Smartwool  Intraknit AS Merino Base Layer Crew Top - Women's

I have never worn a Smartwool base layer before this. I was worried the merino will would irritate my sensitive skin and was gladly prove wrong. The nearly seamless finish also helped keep chaf-free. The Intraknit base layer was breathable yet warm. When I sweat, it was wicked away from my body keeping me warm and the odor restaurant properties of this top kept me from stinking out my ice climbing partners, even with out washing this for a long weekend on the ice. The four way stretch in this garment allowed me range of motion for good axe sticks while climbing. It is also easy to launder.

The shirt performed incredibly well in both warm and cool conditions. It was comfortable, breathable, and did an excellent job wicking away moisture. I thought the ventilation was impressive, and the fit allowed for easy movement throughout the day. For reference I'm 5'4 135 lbs, and the medium fit perfectly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smartwool does it again! This is a great, light weight base layer. I'm 5'10' and love that the sleeves and torso are plenty long to be worn comfortably under other clothes without having to constantly adjust. I wore this for a long weekend skiing, and appreciated that it was comfortable all day. I continue to reach for it for daily runs whenever it is clean, as the neck is the perfect looseness to avoid feeling claustrophobic when bundled up for these winter temps. Nice fit with the spandex, but not see-through at all. Comfy against my skin, and keeps me very cozy, even without a layer on top. Color is great: it looks exactly as pictured. I wear it lounging around the house, and also on walks with weather in the 40s and only a hoodie over the top--I was comfortable, not cold at all! I washed it and hung it to dry--no shrinking and has held up so far.

5’8”, 130lbs, 26in waist, 34in bust, ordered size XS. I bought this for a two week trip to Iceland and I’m so happy I did, it turned out to be my favorite base layer! It kept me warm and is SOOO odor-wicking that I was able to wear it multiple days on long hikes. I get pretty sweaty and it took maybe 6-7 wears to get a little bit of a smell, while my other base layers were gross after 1-2 wears. This top was my holy grail and life saver. I stayed warm and there is ventilation on the shirt which helped so much for breathability.

This one is quite thin but warm still! I feel super comfortable moving around in it. Great for under jackets while skiing. Only a 4 need off price and more than a few loose threads already

This Smartwool top is well made, however, size Large was tight. Fit like a medium-small. I gave it to my daughter. It will work for her running her upcoming half marathon in Detroit.

Love this product because it has all the qualities I look for, comfort, breathability, and durability! I find this wool product not to be itchy either which is a huge pro!

perfect shirt for summiting a 13,000ft volcano to running errands in cooler weather. It is super soft and comfortable. Favorite piece of clothing I own.

Brilliant! perfect fit for an undergarment. Long enough to easily tuck but doesn't require tucking. Sleeves are perfect. Brilliant pattern.
