Fits very small. Typically a medium in smartwool & icebreaker but this is so skin tight that I need a large. For reference 5’4” 135 athletic build

Tiny!

Returning the XL. This is tiny! Very narrow, shows every bulge, even if you're athletic. I wanted to love it. I don't know whose fit-size model 12 they are using, but that person is probably not American. It's beautiful as a base layer, but in no way is something I would wear without a vest or jacket, and what would be the point of the design to then hide it?

Perfect fit

Fits true to size and very comfortable! I have long arms and the sleeves are plenty long enough for me, which is rare. I love the pattern and know I'll wear this often. I got a Large because I didn't want it super form fitting - I'm 5'8" 137 pounds 39bust/30waist/39hips

flattering and fabulous!

I saw this top in my local REI when I was shopping for some socks and was pleasantly surprised at how flattering it was when I tried it on. It is a base layer so the wool is not super soft like a cotton would be, but it’s a fabulous look and now I have a new everyday top for cold weather. I actually bought two of these! I’m not a skier and didn’t buy this to be a base layer, but this pretty top might reduce the need to wear a bulkier sweater underneath my coat on cold winter days.

True to size w/ x-long( & wide) sleeves

I purchased a size small, due to reviews saying it ran small, but after trying it on, I realized I would need an x-small since I wanted it to fit as a base layer, not a shirt. It is roughly 1” too big. Unfortunately, the xs is sold out, but it’s a bit scratchy, so not real sure I’d want it against my skin all day. My measurements: Bra - 32D Bust - 35” Ribs - 31” Waist - 27” Tummy - 31.5” Hips - 36” The sleeves are wicked long @29” and the cuffs are wide @7” w/ the cuff seam @8” wide, so the sleeves bunched up at my wrists, making layering uncomfortable and bulky. I really like that there is not an armpit seam, but dislike that there is a bicep seam which could create a sizing issue. The back measurement is 25.5”, so on me, it’s about 6” of material that needed to get tucked in. The neck is 14”, the waist is 28”, and the bottom hem is 35”. I was worried the pattern would be a bit chaotic for me, but it’s actually really attractive on and the design accentuates my “good parts”. A definite con is that it really dramatizes the spot of fat above my bra band/below my armpit in the back, and that’s with having a roomier fit. It’s stretchy and clingy. I decided to try it on again, but over my x-small LL Bean Simple Soft Base Layer - was pretty okay with it, but will be returning because the sleeves are just way too long and the wrists too loose. This shirt came out of the shipping bag loose and with a snag already on the side, wish REI would put delicate clothes in a protective bag or something. Also, it would be convenient if the measurements of the actual clothing were posted, so that the consumer is not having to constantly guess what their size is.

Absolutely love this top

Fits closely, looks like much more expensive styles, yet is functional and fun. Really dresses up casual attire for ski trips etc. Even bought on for my neighbor! The only reason I didn't give 5star is that it's easy to snag. But I'm very careful wearing and washing it. Love, love, love it.

Very cute, warm top

I ordered this top to wear both casually and for cross country skiing or downhill skiing. It's thin and soft, pretty stretchy, and I really like the pattern. I typically wear a small but I purposely went up a size because I wanted this top to not be skin tight. I got the red color.

Warm and flattering

A very unique pattern and style. It's warm and the fit is flattering. I sized up from S to M because it's otherwise too form fitting. A 'M' is still fitted, slimming and flattering without being clingy! I love this so much I got it in too colors - pine and rose/royal.

Lightweight and form-fitting without being tight

Ordered online and tried on in store. I was amazed by how lightweight the fabric is for a wool blend. The flat-felled seams are great. Very form fitting, the cut and fabric accentuates the bust in a way that made my boyfriend smile.

Worth the price in comfort and looks

I tried this shirt on because I needed another warm base layer and the wool was so soft. Once on, I discovered it is designed to fit close to the body but with complete freedom of movement. Perfect for ice climbing or Nordic skiing. And for looking fabulous.
