comfortable chair but colors don’t match photo
I was disappointed when I opened my new camp chairs and discovered they are not at all beige like they look in the photos on rei’s site and domestics site. They are actually light grey! I didn’t notice the name of the color is called ash. Why are the product photos so misleading?

Well Built But Does Not Fit Me, Returned
Well built. However does not fit me so I returned it. Angle of the back is too leaned back. It was sorta okay after I put one inch blocks under the back legs, although still not quite enough angle. However, when using the blocks to make the back more upright, it presses on my upper back and there is no support for lower back (lumbar area) so becomes uncomfortable quick. I am 5' 10". I sat in the chair at the store and during that quick test, it seemed okay then. Carrying it in the bag, across my body, pointy parts of the chair dug into my back, so had to adjust (rotate) the chair in the bag, which made it better but still had some pressure points.

What a missed opportunity

The chair is comfortable, well made and easy to carry. The materials are excellent. The only problem is that it leans far too much back, causing you to leans forward a lot if you're trying to eat or have a conversation with someone. I purchased this so I could cook on my low table and my back and neck started hurting the next day. Not only is the backrest at close to a 45 degree angle, but so is the seat! The ideal customer would be sitting by themselves, enjoying the view (without a drink), and stretching their legs out. If you need to talk to someone, have a table in front of you, enjoy a drink while sitting, or cook then this is not for you.

I Found My Chair!

Best collapsible chair I’ve ever had! Well made; nice height (not too low). I’m 6’ 4” 260. This is a perfect, easy to pack camping chair for me. Nice storage bag.

Great chair

Great chair. Easy to set up and pack away. Wide chair, plenty of room. I found the chair to be comfortable. Not at all heavy to carry. It's a well-built lawn chair. The chair supports your back well. I do wish the chair had a foldable footstool and a cup holder.

All Day Comfort

Absolutely amazing! The most comfortable folding chair I've ever owned. I spent a year or two ordering at least a dozen different chairs from various sources along with trying all the one's available in the major outdoor stores. This one by far is the best that is out there. Quality build materials and all day comfort.

Great Aluminum Chair

Exceptionally comfortable chair. Quality materials. Not for back packing but easy to manage carrying to where it needs to be and it packs up easily in its well designed carry bag. My back absolutely loves this chair but I may decide to gently round off the sharp edges on a portion of the top surface of the arm rests. This chair is sturdy enough that I’m really comfortable sitting forward on it to prepare food or sit at the table to eat a meal, as one does on picnic benches. The pocket on the back side seems to offer a bit of extra back support in just the right place. Unlike many other camp chairs, this design has no uncomfortable construction cross pieces across the back or under the legs, or any such inconveniences and yet manages to be notably sturdy and well balanced. I’ll be getting a velcro attached foldy bike drink / catch all cup in lieu of a “coffee table” and all set for some serious relaxation. Thanks, Dometic. An added few inches to the back would make a wonderful bit of head resting space though. Just gotta say. Maybe a clip on thingy option?

Very well made chair but geometry wrong for me

I’ve been on a quest to find an aluminum frame chair that was similar to an older model Coleman which had nice back support in a very lightweight chair. Alas, this was not it. On the plus side, it was very well made & sturdy, but the geometry didn’t work. The back was not upright but leaned back. Also did not think the color -light gray/tan- would look good for long. Dirt would be very visible. Good chair but not for me.

Well made and very sturdy chairs.

Great design. My only thought is the back should be slightly straighter and not lean so far back.

Very comfortable, Easy to fold and store.

Very comfortable, the frame is the most durable one I have ever had. I would’ve given it 5 stars but I haven’t had it a full season yet and the seam from the seat to the back rest is coming loose. It hasn’t broken yet, but I feel I’ll be contacting customer service about a warranty claim before next camping season. Not an REI issue.
