Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfy I just love this bag. There is plenty of room for me to roll over in and the bag doesn't go with you. (My sleeping pad is bigger then the holder attached to the bag. Only because we bought tall and wide pads a while ago.) The pillow pocket works great. My feet stayed warm in 40 degree weather without socks, couldn't believe it. Unfortunately the pocket didn't fit my iPhone 7 plus but that's okay because it was perfect for holding my contact case and chap stick while I slept and my pillow while stored. My next bag will be Big Agnes because I am so satisifed with this bag. It was so comfortable I wish I was sitting in it right now, in my living room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Comfortable I bought this sleeping bag for an upcoming trip to California in May. I get cold pretty easily and sleep on my side-- a problem child for most sleeping bags. I'm a pretty tall girl-- 5'6''-- so I also need a longer bag. This bag is amazing! It is super comfortable and very warm. I like the colors and I love the sleeping pad sleeve. I do think I would have gone with the more expensive bag from the Big Agnes line, but I am trying to stick to a budget. This was a great purchase for weekend backpacking-- it packs pretty small and they give you two stuff sacks (one for storage to keep it fluffy, one for your pack to pank it down). I'll update once we get back to see how it held up and traveled!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from comfortable, but not 15 degrees went camping last weekend in Los Padres National Forrest (So Cal). the car temp at 1am said 44 degrees. our camelback drippings froze, so it must have been 32?? regardless, I thought I would be hot in my Lulu 15 - I was not. I always get hot camping (except once) and shed clothes in the night. I was wearing a long sleeved wool base layer, running tights, fleece socks, and a ski hat. I only shed the hat because it was uncomfortable and pulled the bag over my head. We also ended up using a down throw on top of the bag. While I was not cold, I was not hot. the roominess of it was nice (i'm 5'0", 110 lbs)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfy but more like 45-50 degree I used this bag a couple times in the Winter on the West Coast in SoCal and Northern Nevada. I really wanted to like this bag because it was a 15 degree bag and I really liked the colors and the width. I'm generally a cold sleeper and usually sleep with thermal leggings and regular leggings on top, a sweater or base layer top. Not with this. I wore these items on top of my winter coat and my feet were freezing the entire night. The rest of my body were able to get warm but it seems like there's some sort of hole or ventilation opening wherebtge feet were. This was my first Big Agnes purchase but unfortunately perhaps my last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag I love this! Truly great purchase. I love the my Big Agnes Lulu Bag, I bought my Big Agnes sleeping pad 6 years ago and it fits in the pocket intended for the sleeping pad. I can also slide in my camp pillow. I am a side sleeper and love the extra room to toss and turn. I am 5'5 ad 160, I got the Reg length bag and it is a little long but it works great. I say if your a cold sleeper and know you need that extra warmth then grab a bag liner. I sleep warmer and I usually wear the proper wool long underwear, socks and beanie while sleeping in colder weather and if I feel cold I through on my down sweater. Great bag! I recommend to anybody looking for extra room.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Roomy but does not keep you warm Just bought this, and tried it once. I was sold when I saw that is goes to 15F, and I loved the colors, and the fact that it's a bit roomier. HOWEVER- I took it backpacking in Haleakala crater, couldn't have been even 40F, and I was FREEZING!!! I had double leggings on, fleece sweater, and wool socks, and of course a Big Agnes sleeping pad, and I was STILL FREEZING!!! Definitely would not make it in 15F. Probably going to return it sadly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Concept If it Worked I really want to like this sleeping bag, the idea that you don’t need bottom insulation because your pad does the work is great, but in reality the bag becomes drafty. I bought the 15° and tested it out in low 30’s and boy was I cold. My feet were frigid and my torso was just barely warm enough. And the reason was because I could feel cold air leaking in through the sides. The drapping effect was not enough to stop it. Honestly it would be a great 40-60° weather bag, because it breaths but for the price that’s just silly. You could try going down to the 0° or getting the wide size so the drapping is more exaggerated. I’m only offering these suggestions because having the pad pinned to the sleeping bag is such a nice feature - especially for side sleepers like me. All in all though I would pass.

No, this bag does not come with a compression stuff sack. Choose a compression-type stuff sack that's 15 liters; https://www.rei.com/c/stuff-sacks

At 5'4, 130 lbs, would the regular be too long and/or too much room?

Asked by: jojobean
Based on your height, you could go with either size. We recommend going with the petite length as this will be more thermal efficient.

Is there insulation on both sides of this bag? I read in reviews that he Big Angnes Roxy Ann did not and wanted to make sure this one did before purchasing.

Asked by: wildflower
This sleeping does not have any insulation on the bottom. Big Agnes instead replaced this with a sleeping pad sleeve to accommodate the pad which provides the insulation.

Is there a recommended sleeping pad for this bag? One that is a perfect fit?

Asked by: CRyanHarv
The Big Agnes Q-Core SLX Sleeping Pad is a great choice for this sleeping bag. The petite pad goes with the petite bag and the regular pad goes with the regular bag. https://www.rei.com/b/big-agnes/c/air-pads
