This bag has no insulation on the back of it. But for those with a little knowledge of camping and backpacking gear they will understand why. Pair this with an insulating sleeping pad and your kid will stay warm and not roll off their pad. You don't have to worry about your kid rolling off in the middle of the night and getting cold. The pad sleeve works great. The only complaint I have with the pad sleeve system in general is they are not adjustable. If you have a wide sleeping pad the sleeve will not work.
Sleeping bag is TINY - way too small for even a small child. I put my kid's name on it before trying it out and they wouldn't return it, which is fine. But don't make the same mistake. The kid's size is too short for an average 6 year old! Maybe they sent the wrong one but it's teeny
My son has used this bag for a couple of seasons and it has held up really well. We typically sleep out under the stars (not on a tent) and he's always stayed warm and cozy even on cool nights in the mountains. Great warm and durable bag for a great price
I got this one for my kid, who is stoked to have their own bag! Material is top notch, warm to size ratio is pretty nice and build quality is what you would expect for a stellar brand like Big Agnes. Can't go wrong picking one of these up!
Great sleeping bag for the kid. It fit well in my kids 18L pack when rolled up. The pad sleeve is a nice touch to keep the kid on top of their sleeping pad!
I have used this at 25 degree and was plenty warm in my Big agnes tent. I still wore my thermals but no additional layers.
Purchased for my kid, have had only 1. Ight in it so far. But the quality of the bag shows, kid loves it
