The sleeping bags are pretty awesome. It is nice to have an actual sleeping bag for my children instead of the cheap indoor sleepover style that is found everywhere. The sleeping pad sleeve does keep them from sliding up and down or rolling off the pad completely onto the ground. The reason I am only giving it 4/5 is because whenever my children would wiggle around they would slide off the edge of the sleeping pad onto the ground, leaving only part of their body secured on the pad. That being said they still stayed warm even though temps dipped into the low 40°F. I'd definitely recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for a cute but functional bag for their kids.
This packs down nicely in a 10L (maybe could do a 8L even) compression sack. My daughter (age 6) looooved it. It made our backpacking experience so much better. We were using one of my old sleeping bags for her before and she would squirm and wake herself up. This one was perfect. She slept great! We used it for backpacking. The underside slides onto a sleeping pad (we used a Big Agnes q core short) and cinches onto the pad using drawstrings on the top and bottom. Overall, excellent. Wish it was just slightly taller though.
We got this on sale in spring and it worked great. Our two year old was warm on her first camping trip. Initially she didn’t want to be constrained in the mummy style bag but we had a couple of nights where the temperature hit 34°F and she couldn’t have been cozier. She slept through the night without budging and no complaints of cold. It has enough room for a toddler to grow without being too big. The only knock against it is that the synthetic filler doesn’t compress as well as down.
Bought this for my 3 year old and he can't get enough of it. Even sleeps in the house with it sometimes. We've taken it on several car camping trips and it has performed excellent. Last trip was in the upper 30s/windy and it kept my son perfectly comfortable the entire night. Product is well constructed and has a pretty robust zipper. Could be hard to close for younger kids. Pad sleeve works well, but if your child rolls around a little too aggressively while in the sleeping bag, the whole setup can flip over. No other issues. Highly recommend this product.
Warm and stable- 18 month old son slept great through the night in mid to low 40 degrees. Paired with insulated mat and it stayed secured and in place all night. No complaints everything worked great and was user friendly for anyone looking for a kids sized sleeping bag even if it was your first trip. Just make sure you know it's a mummy style Bag so they can be a little constricting if you're not used to it so try it before you decide to use it for real.
This sleeping bag keeps little campers warm and comfortable all night. The FireLine Core recycled insulation is eco-friendly yet performs well, and the adjustable design allows room to grow. The zipper glides smoothly, and the materials feel durable and soft. It packs down nicely for trip Make sure to air it out after trips to maintain loft.s and is perfect for both new young adventurers and experienced families seeking reliable gear.
It keeps your kid on the air pad. Soft and light weight. Durable and warm perfect to tent camping. Great features with stuff sack that comes with it. Having the hanging tabs on it is also a game changer when washing or cleaning it out. I’m excited to keep this bag going for many more year with all My kids using this sleeping bag. Looking forward for the next time we all go camping. Keep on camping.
Bought this bag for my 3 year old, she absolutely loves it! Only con is the bottom has zero insulation which I didn't know when purchasing. Would be nice to have that insulation/ comfort all the way around for a toddler bag. Now on the lookout for an affordable sleep pad with some R-value so the cold doesn't seep from below in the night.
No insulation / filling on back makes it very limited. Requires sleeping pad in all conditions so not great if you just want to lay out kids sleeping bags on the carpet for a movie night.
Almost perfect youth bag. Kept my son toasty warm on our recent camping trip without needing to stay layered in clothing in the bag. Only possible improvement I can think of would be if the zipper could go a little further down the bag to make access in and out easier for him.
