I purchased this bag in preparation for the 2023 utah hunting season. So I would be asking a lot from from it to begin with... Beginning in August and running till November, I was asking this affordable zero degree bag to be as versatile as most vastly more expensive bags to be. And for the most part it delivered. It will work as a back packing bag... but its close. Pro's- warmth comfort durability Con's- size compression size again size a third time. take away is that this bag is a great option for anyone looking for a multi use versatile sleeping bag at an affordable price. Just don't expect it to compress down to the size of a loaf of bread...
The bag is well made, but the sizing is a little optimistic. I ordered the long version because I'm 6'3" and it's supposed to fit someone 6'6" and I cannot lay flat with my head in the hood on a flat surface. For what I'm using it for it will work so I'm going to keep it because it is a quality item.
To big for what we needed. we got this for backpacking and synthetic fill was recommended but wow— it is big and a bit heavy— sending back and trying again for something lighter— prob ably great for car camping
Haven't gotten to use in extremely cold temperatures, but has been extremely warm in the temps I have. Very solid design with extremely smooth and easy to use zippers. Very comfortable.
I used this bag for 10 days in weather that was reaching below 25 degrees Fahrenheit at night. I was comfortable and warm. The design and color is nice.
Awesome sleeping bag. Zipper holds up to abuse and the bag is very warm and comfortable. Fabric is also tough and will not rip easily under normal use.
Bigger than down, but packable for short hikes. Just took it to the catskills in winter. Comfortable, warm, dry, reasonably light for a zero bag.
The quality is evident as soon as you unpack the bag. Warm in environments below the actual rating. It is a big bag so not a backpacking bag.
It's a good 0 degree bag. It is on the larger size to pack down, but for the quality and price, it can't be beat!
Warm, packs nicely for a synthetic bag as well as being reasonably lightweight for synthetic.
