Each bag then gets 2 ratings: the Comfort rating is the lowest temperature at which the bag will keep the average "cold sleeper" comfortable, and the Lower Limit rating is the lowest temperature at which the bag will keep the average "warm sleeper" comfortable. Some brands determine their own temperature rating by aligning to the Comfort rating for women’s bags, to the Lower Limit rating for men’s bags, or somewhere in the middle for nongendered bags.

Perfect bag for 30 degree nights
I used this sleeping bag for a 3 day adventure in the Eastern Sierra, mid summer but with much cooler evenings. I wore only my boxers while sleeping in it overnight and it was PERFECT. Not too hot or too cold, nights were hovering around 30-35F and this bag performed. It also passed the husky durability test. Our husky slept on it (on me) for part of the night and walked all around, no punctures or anything. I also really love and appreciate how far down the zipper goes for when I have to water the plants in the middle of the night. It packs down super small and is barely noticeable in my pack. This is my new go-to sleeping bag for all summer adventures.
Light and compact, but with a few issues
I love how compact and light the Fly Creek bag is. Unfortunately, I don't feel that it held up to it's temperature rating. I was fairly uncomfortable in this sleeping bag at just under 40 degrees. The center zip is nice for sleeping on your side without the zipper poking you, however it is too short to get in/out of the sleeping bag without shimmying up and down in and out. Another 9" would have made it so you could unzip past your knees and exit. When the zipper is pulled up all the way, the zipper pull tickles you in the face and makes you question whether a bug is biting your face. For the money, I think there are better options.
I recommend this product
Great summer bag Colorado's hi country ! great weight to warmth ratio .
