Imported.

Many sleeping bags are rated for temperature by an independent testing protocol, the European Norm (EN) 13537. Each bag gets two ratings: a comfort rating and lower limit rating. The comfort rating is the lowest temperature at which the bag will keep the average woman (or "cold sleeper") comfortable, and the lower-limit rating is the lowest temperature at which the bag will keep an average man (or “warm sleeper”) comfortable. Everyone's body and sleep comfort is different, so EN Ratings are merely a guideline to help you compare products.

I just got this sleeping bag (petite) and also got an eVent compression bag, the 6L size. Should I be able to fit the bag into it? I thought 6L was big enough since this says the bag should compress to 5L, but I'm having trouble getting it in.

Asked by: isabelgg
When buying a compression stuff sack, the original stuff sack size is used. The 15 liter compression sack is the right size.

Is this bag insulated on the bottom? I know a lot of Big Agnes bags are not, so I am just making sure.

Asked by: lindseyhro
Yes, the Hazel is a traditional style bag with insulation on the bottom.
