I really like these -- they were super comfy right out of the box and have been great for road running. Even though they are listed as trail runners, the soles aren't quite as rugged as some other trail shoes, but I think they'd be fine for that as well. The slide tie is nice, though it was a little annoying when the end flopped around while running. Solved that easily by tucking it into the "loop" that runs up the tongue of the shoe. A little loose in the heel but perfectly snug and comfortable in the toe box even though I have a bunion on one foot. Definitely recommend.

I had the X-Mission 3 and really liked them and I wanted to get another pair of Salomons, so I bought these. They did not fit the same, nor did they feel like the same quality product. The fit was too wide. I'll return these and hopefully find some others that I like as much as my first pair.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago. Horrible quality - they seem like knock-offs. Fabric has already frayed. Size is a least one size too big. Laces are very difficult to use. I've had lots of Salomon shoes in the past, these are nowhere near the same quality.
