Comfortable and light weight-good grip. Terrible lace design . Despite tucking strap under it came undone within 5 steps and I landed face first on sidewalk:(. Will be returning

I needed great hiking shoes because I was going to the Swiss Alps for 2 weeks and I hike very long distances on my own, so I wanted to be comfortable. I also needed shoes with great grip so I would slide down the rough terrain. I tried other brands, but in the end I opted for these shoes. I am so glad I did! These are hands down the most comfortable shoes I’ve had in my life. They provide a lot of stability as well for my ankles. Amazing grip on different types of terrain. Great color! I have zero complains about it. This is definitely my new favorite brand and I’ll stick to it.

Salomon Speedcross6 are amazing on the trails. They absorb the trail perfectly and make my runs even easier and faster 🤩 I get many compliments from my friends. They have bought some too. I’m looking for my 3 pair now!!!

Looks good, feels comfortable, and well made. Shoe reactions are thick and aggressive. The top surface is thin; looks comfortable, but it may be a disadvantage; it tears easily.

Holes formed after fours months use and got a lot bigger around eight months. Shoelaces broke after ten months use. After asking Salomon for a refund, they denied me. This is my second pair that has fallen apart in less than a year. I will never buy from them again.

I can’t speak for the shoe, but maybe the person that ran in them before I bought them could. These were purchased as NEW. They came in a generic box that fell apart when I opened the package. Not a Salomon box. Not a Salomon tag on the shoe. Not the paper inserts that keep the shoe structure in place. The soles of the shoes were black. Now I have to pay for return shipping for used shoes. I have a race next week but can’t wear these because I refuse to wear used shoes that I paid $120 for, thinking they were new. These were from the swap rack. I’m so disappointed in REI for doing this and thinking it would be okay. This is how you treat your members? No thanks. Now I’m out $7.99 shipping the worn shoes back. Money is tight for me and that is a lot of money. When I spend it on new shoes I expect to get new shoes. This was like an Amazon purchase but from REI.

I used to be in love with this model until I got my order delivered and oh my goodness! The writing on top made it awful, ugly and ughhhhh 😶 So disappointed! If you want to be creative and add something make sure the pictures showing in site match the real one! With some RED details ! Now i have to return my order because you didnt mention about writing on shoes in any picture!!!!!!

I love this shoe!! I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota on 60 acres, I step outside and hike all the hills around my home. I took two pairs of earlier versions of the Speedcross to Mont Blanc and had a wonderful time hiking in those shoes. This year, I am heading to the Dolomites and will, again, bring two pairs of the Speedcross!! Stability, grip, and support are outstanding!!

I love these trail runners. I hike in Merrils, but bought these for easy trail hikes with my husband that don’t require a heavier sole. They have been absolutely perfect.

Upgraded from a previous pair. Worried they wouldn't be as comfortable and worried about whether they would be worth the extra price tag. I was so worried about the comfort I took my old pair out with me in a ruc sack. Totally worth it! Felt like slippers with grip and completed 14k with my old shoes never seeing the light of day.
