High quality, comfortable pack

Love my new pack! This is my first one for backpacking. I’ve had an Osprey daypack for years so decided to stick with a strong brand that I know for overnight adventures. Very comfortable so far, especially like the padded hip belt. Roomy with plenty of storage. That it came with a rain cover was a big selling point for me. I ordered online so went into my local REI for a fitting. That was so helpful and great way to learn about this pack and how to make adjustments along the trail. Great quality, comfortable pack!

Awwww yeah!

Took this babe out for her maiden voyage yesterday and I’m pretty darn happy. Went out for an overnight with my pup, here’s the list of rings I was able to shove in there (with plenty o room for more!): 1 L water bottle, 2 L blades, water filter, jet boil, titanium cup, 8 of the ten essentials (oops!), sleep system (pad on the outside of bag), tent (no stakes, no fly), emergency tarp, food, schnacks, pants n 2 shirts. One hip pocket held more schnacks, the other held my secrets ;). Food and a toothbrush (it’s actually a treat but we cal em toothbrushes) for the pup and a collapsible bowl. I definitely had room for more ( more treats for Buddy? More schnacks for me?), and can’t wait to take her out again. Super comfortable- for someone who hasn’t hiked in ages it made 8 miles feel like nothing. All this to say….I dig this pack. Lots of exterior anchor points and access in the right places.

Osprey still makes great packs

Perfect size and fit for my daughter who has agreed to backpacking with me in the Sierras in September I’m still using my vintage 2008 Osprey that I have taken on multiple section hikes on the JMT

Returned because I goofed; For LARGE people.

The pack was WAY too big, however because I’m an idiot and didn’t read the part about this pack being for a large person. Got it for my girlfriend, who is a toothpick. Lol. However, you just can’t beat the price for a solid and comfy pack. I’m a pack lover, and honestly loved this. The only issue was the waist belt was too loose, even at full tightness. I will return and get another through REI.
