My 12-year-old son needed a backpack proportional to his body size for a Boy Scout backpacking trip to Yellowstone. The REI sales people were courteous and knowledgeable and eager to help. I am very happy with the result.
Bought this pack to try out. Fits small adults like me, but not a true 50 liters- unless they are counting the pockets. My gear wouldn’t fit inside even in compression sacks. Well made, and nice selection of colors. It would definitely work for kids and small adults who don’t need to carry a bear box, sleeping bag, and their tent.
