Good value for the price.
I originally bought 2 pairs of these as Christmas gifts for family coming into town just so they would have something to kick around in outside and I liked them well enough to buy myself a pair after seeing them. They don't fit as well as other duck boots I have but they are a good value for the price with a nice style and traditional muck quality. Normally I wear 10 1/2 so I originally ordered a size 11 but they had to much room in the toe box and to lose a fit so I ordered size 10 and fortunately they fit well with regular socks and aren't tight or that would've been a deal breaker. Returning the 11's which is also no hassle so overall I'm satisfied.
Good solid waterproof boots.
Truly waterproof and decently comfortable, however, the high top section of the boots are a bit abrasive and tough requiring a longer break-in period. I've only worn it for a couple of days but it was for an extended period of time, and it kept my feet nice and dry. Felt bit snug with regards to fit. Order half size larger if you intend on wearing a thicker sock or with an additional insole.
Unfortunately Not Waterproof
I got these last week and wore them the other day when we had very heavy rain. Both boots leaked where the rubber and and the leather are stitched together after about the third step through 3 to 4 inches of water and were totally soaked with in a few minutes On the plus side they are comfortable but the leaking defeats the purpose of the boots.
Hi there, we're sorry to hear these boots did not meet your expectations. In normal, active conditions, this style is waterproof, though in heavier, torrential conditions as many of us experienced this week, a full rubber boot is going to offer the best protection. We're introducing a new boot this spring, called the Harvester, that will offer full height rubber construction that will provide better protection when flood gates open. We thank you for sharing your honest feedback.
Fantastic boots
These are the work boots to get if you are in wet conditions. I just bought my second pair after the first ones started to crack a bit on the rubber shell. That being said these are by far the longest lasting and well designed boots I’ve found. I’m in them 12-14 hours a day in wet areas they never let me down. Lace ‘em up, get moving
Not waterproof.
I've had two pairs of these boots and both leaked within a month. Feels like water is coming in from the sole and where the rubber/leather upper meet. I've had a better experience with other styles but I'd steer clear of these if you're looking to keep your feet dry.
Mixed Review
I haven't worn them in bad weather yet, but I have a comment about putting the boots on. It was quite tight across the top of my foot as I was putting them on - almost painful to get my foot in. Once they are on the sizing is good and the boots are comfortable.
early wear
Bought these a few months ago and have only worn a dozen times or so. They look nice, are comfortable, and water proof but the stitching on the heal is starting to come undone and the leather is starting to separate from the rubber.
Looks good
Looks and feels good Did not use yet but I I did put the boots on. When put on I feel paid across my upper both feet maybe I need to brake the boots in. Over all I will consider in a big way if I will buy the boots again.
Comfortable.
I bought these because they don’t really look like rubber boots, they are a a satin black and look like just regular hiking boots. They are comfortable and sturdy. They add re great boots!
Great for taking the dogs to poop!!!
They fit perfect, ordered to size. Great looking boots and very comfortable. I enjoy the look of the leather because you can tell attention to detail was important. Great boot over all.
