Junk
If you want you want to spend $115 on boots that you will throw away in 13 months go right ahead. These boots had VERY light use and you see what the results are. Customer service is useless, they will run you around and then offer a discount for a new pair. Take my advice, spend your money on HUK or Grunden, you will get what you pay for TRUST me!
These boots are terrible
This is my 2nd pair of boots that have fallen apart in less than a year. My old Xtratuffs lasted 20 years. Ever since they sold to a new parent company the product has fallen into trash. If you want these for looking pretty and not getting any real work out of them then I guess they will work out. If you do any yard work with these boots expect to buy new ones in 2 years or less. Sad to see great boots fall to garbage
Great looking boot but sucks!
I purchased two pair size 11 extra tough boots look great feel great the souls are cheap gum rubber and leak after minimal/ moderately worn
great boots
I love these boots. I bought a pair two years ago and I’ve worn them a lot. They’re super comfortable and slip on/off with ease. They are great for boating, as you would expect, but I also really like them for working around the house and gardening. I’ve put mine through the wringer and they look like heck now, but the boots themselves show minimal wear. I’m definitely going to buy another pair.
Like the boot but not durable
I had high hope for these boots. Was looking for something that I could easily slide on to run to the mailbox and chicken coop, but these did not hold up. In about 6 months of normal use they began cracking at the flex points. Disappointed.
Dry feet and good deck traction
These boots are good quality, keeping your feet dry with good deck traction. I have wide feet and a high arch so, I had to order two sizes larger, they fit much better. They are not for rough terrain; like hiking, or rocky, or icy places
Awesome
Normally wear an 8-8 1/2. Got the size 9. They are perfect.
Great boot! my go-to for when I have to run out.
We bought these simply to take the dogs out in the winter and now they my go-to footwear for almost anything. They’re warm —I took them out on a 14°F day walk with a wool sock and my feet stay warmed. They held up less well when I was only standing around in 27°F weather though. So movement is key. They’re super easy to slip on and off. I got a whole size larger than my foot size and it isn’t an issue and leaves room for thicker socks but you don’t need them. They’re comfortable. The footbed is nice and soft and the inside feels like neoprene so it isn’t like other rubbery rain boots. And finally everyone compliments them. Only downside is they’re not great on ice as the tread is similar to your favorite converse sneaker.
These boots are extra NOT tough
I gave these two stars because they were awesome while they lasted. The rubber split 8 months into moderate suburban life wear. Xtratuf replaced them with a new pair. 6 months into the second pair the sole got holes and now lets water in. They are the least tough boot I've ever owned. I suspect Walmart boots would last longer. I like the look and functionality so much that I considered just replacing them every year but then I reminded myself that each pair broke down in 6-8 months and they are $115. Bummer
These boots are so poorly made it is sad
Xtra tough boots are so poorly made now that they were bought by another parent company. I used them for a year and both boots have holes in them. Makes me sad because I had a pair that lasted 20 years before this. Note that this happened on 2 different pairs of boots. I refuse to buy these boots again.
