Good boot for around the neighborhood
Definitely runs large. I wear a 10.5 and the 10s I bought were still a little loose. Since they also lacked comfortable insoles I bought some inserts which solved both issues providing a snug fit for my foot and increasing the comfort. These are great to walk around the neighborhood with. One caution is the sole of the boot is a bit narrow versus having a flat wide platform that something like steel toes boots give. I wouldn’t want to run in these for fear of rolling an ankle because of that narrower sole but they’re good for walking the dog around the neighborhood.
like them a lot- warning strong fumes at first
I'm a gal who wears 10-10-1/2 women size- bought these in men's 9. I bought these in olive- the 2 tone of boot/sole is sharp looking. So glad I didn't buy the black. They are comfortable and easy to put on with my high instep. So I like them- good looks, comfy and easy to put on. Only negative is when I opened the box the off-gases from production practically knocked me over- sickening. Would have shut the box and returned them but I liked the looks and hoped the smell would go away when aired out. I put them on my deck 3 days out of the box- which was enough time for smell to disappear. Wish Bogs would open boxes and let air before sending.
So far so good
I work at a garden center and getting wet boots/shoes was becoming an issue, so I got a pair of these and wore them today. They worked during some watering tasks, still need to see how they do in the heat. As others have said they run large, I wear an 10.5 usually so I opted for 10's. Even these feel large with an insole and somewhat thicker socks. I believe Bogs said something about airflow.
Great boot
Great boot, I am a very lazy dude and prefer shoes I can just slip on. These definitely fit the bill.
Great boots
Great boot, durable and just the right height, easy on to get the new puppy out quickly!
Good quality vegan rain boot
Haven't worn it in the rain yet, but I like that it's vegan, stylish and seems to be good quality. I recommend sizing down, my usual size (11) was way too big, I exchanged for a 10 which fit perfectly (with some slight extra room too).
Sturdy rain boot
A sturdy, waterproof rain boot perfect for the PNW (walking the dog, yard work, etc). It runs REALLY large. I wear men's size 11 in most shoes (examples: Salomon, Topo) but went with a 10, which fit fine, comfortably snug with heavy sock. You would not want to walk long distances as there is not good support. But perfect for around the neighborhood.
Easy on and off rain boots
The Bogs Mid Rain Boots are excellent for walks in wet weather. They are easy to slip on and off. The one negative is that they run large. I wear a size 7EE shoe. I purchased the size 7 boots. With the help of thick socks the boots fit loosely. This is fine for walks less than a mile, but the loose fit would be a problem for longer walks.
Dissapointed
I bought these just under two years ago. I’ve probably worn them 50 times, entirely in the yard around the house, very light use. Stored inside. One boot has now developed a crack in the sole that lets water in. Great looks, terrible longevity.
No good after 2 years
After 2 rainy seasons of gentle use in Portland, OR, one of the shoe's sole has started to separate from the upper part of the shoe at the seam. I didn't notice until I had a soaked sock. These were only used to walk the dog around the block when it was raining. I liked how easy they were to get in and out of, but I'm disappointed at how little these lasted :(
