A great successor to the original Bozeman
I have the original Bozeman from a few years ago for work on my farm in northwest Montana. I have a flock of chickens that I tend to daily no matter the weather. The original Bozeman were so warm and comfortable that I replaced them with the Bozeman II and I'm extremely pleased with them so far. The solid sides all the way up helps keep snow and water out better, and the Vibram sole really makes a difference when walking on ice, frozen ground, and concrete. I bought two pairs, one for the farm and one for the public. It's a joy to put them on and go out in adverse conditions knowing my feet stay warm and dry.
Couldn't be happier with this boot!
I just bought these boots and have worn them for a week now in the very start of winter in Montana. I am extremely happy with my purchase and they live up to the hype. I am a huge fan of a slip on boot in the winter as I go in and out of the house into deep snow many times per day. I can simply step in these and know that I am wearing my best pair of boots. My feet are happy. It's been in the single digits already, and my feet have been plenty warm with a regular boot sock. They fit true to size. I am normally a size 10 and the 10 fits perfectly. These boots are amazing!
Tough on Weather, Not on Insoles
I purchased these boots as a gift for my husband, who works outdoors year-round as a tree climber and is constantly exposed to snow, cold, and all kinds of weather. Overall, he really likes the boots. They’re warm, waterproof, and comfortable, and they’ve held up well to tough conditions on the job. They’ve definitely kept his feet dry and warm through snow and wet weather, which is a huge plus. The downside: the insoles have already broken down within a couple of months of wear. For boots at this price point and intended for heavy-duty outdoor work, that was disappointing. The boots themselves still seem solid, but the insoles didn’t hold up nearly as well as expected. Pros: ✔️ Warm ✔️ Waterproof ✔️ Comfortable ✔️ Good traction Cons: ❌ Insoles wore out quickly with daily, demanding use Overall, still a good boot, but I’d recommend planning on replacing the insoles if they’re going to be used for heavy outdoor or work applications.
Winter in Montana
Christmas gift cold weather boots that are warm, waterproof, and have good grip. They are slip-ons which means they fit a bit loose with regular socks. Great for chores, but not meant for long hikes. They run big; one size down is just right. Time will tell if they are durable.
Nice and warm
I live in an area where it doesn’t snow heavily, but it snows often, and I wear them comfortably. I’m not sure how they would perform in places with very heavy snowfall.
Great boots recommend highly.
Super comfortable and great in the snow and ice. Grips really well where my old pair of boots would slide these stay planted. Also really warm even in all day snow.
