I do Christmas light installation in the fall and winter and I bought these boots for warmth because they are rated -40c. They are no good for standing still. (I spend time in lifts). I added Merino wool socks and still no good. They don't keep my feet warm at all. Also too tight around the calf for me. Maybe that's intentional but too tight for me. They keep your feet dry and seem to be good to around 0c or a little lower but as soon as I am standing in snow or up on the lift my feet freeze. They are comfortable for all day wearing however! Maybe if I was walking more but I get around 10k steps easy, its the standing times where they fail.

This was the top high boot in outdoor heartland review. And I have to say they deserve the rating. The fit is perfect. I’m an 8.5 and the 9 was perfect so size up a bit. The traction is terrific both amongst rocks and in torrential rain and mud. We used them for four hours in a night down pour at the end of the season on Mt Kenya and would swear by them. It was temperate so not cold and the 9 is pretty tight with light hiking socks so if cold you might want to size up another ½ but for this purpose it was perfect and easy to rock jump and rain stomp.

I love them so far. They're lighter and way more flexible. Flipping them on and off is just 10 times easier. They just hug to your feet and don't go anywhere. It's a really good heel cup, so no sliding around. In other boots, my heel would move. They were easy on and off but then my heel would move and I would get a hot spot or blisters. I can wear my BOGS all day, every day. Even when it's dry out. I have problems with my sciatic nerves and I can tell when I have boots on that don't support it, it flares up. I haven't had any issues with the BOGS. I will buy another pair 100%.

Purchased these because they had a good warmth rating (-40C) and slip resistance. I can say after having used them for the last two months (Nov & Dec) that they do not keep your feet warm (and I'm always moving about doing chores on the farm, not standing still). Not sure how they get their -40C rating, but be very leery of these numbers. As for slip resistance, they have nice deep treads, but unless you're walking on fluffy snow, anything else is very slippery (packed snow, ice, etc). Based on my reasons for buying these boots, I would not buy them again.

This boot lives up to everything promised and more. Non-slip in thick mud/manure, keeps feet warm in deep snow, and the heel doesn't slide up when manuvering in thick snow/mud. I've tried many brands of farm and ranch boots. This one has exceeded all of them! 5 stars isn't enough. The whole family wants a pair now after seeing how impressed I was....which is saying something since I'm not easily impressed. Also, worth noting that I have wide feet and it was perfect to size. Just went half a size up to the next whole size.

Solidly made heavy duty boot. Did not love the footbed, and found that even after a few minutes my foot started to get sweaty (of course by design rainboots aren’t breathable), but made me worry about wearing them for extended durations. I would have loved to be able to trial them for real and see how they performed outdoors, but was worried I wouldn’t be able to return them and these boots are of course top dollar, so not a risk I was willing to take.

A lot of reviews say to size up but I did not find this to be true. I wear an 11.5 in pretty much everything. I ordered a 12 based on reviews but had to send back. Return was nice and easy. Got my size 11 and it fits great with enough toe room.

I purchased a size 9 and wasn't comfortable withe the fit. No problem returning for refund at no cost to me. Then bought a size 10 that fits well. Great company to deal with. I sent email and made phone calls that were responded to quickly. The boots I settled on fit well, but too soon to see how durable they are. They are warm, but to -40? Maybe if I'm walking, standing still not so sure.

I bought my Bogs and went into a creek to go Gold prospecting and love them..It's so refreshing to find a company that is offering friendlier products that are all around much better suited for our ecosystem and that also help protect our environment better..I absolutely love the soles…Comfort and amazing grip as well… Would certainly buy again for sure and would also HIGHLY RECOMMEND..
