Disappointing Durability

I purchased these boots just over a year ago and while i initially liked them, I've been disappointed with their durability. Despite taking great care of them and wearing them only to do light chores around the house, several tears have appeared and they are starting to come apart. The boots initial appeal lies in their stylish design and comfortable fit. They served me well for the first few months, but it's disheartening to see them deteriorate so quickly. The quality simply doesn't match the price I paid, and I expected them to last much longer, especially given the limited wear they've received. The material used seems to lack the necessary durability for long-term use. In conclusion, while these boots may have an attractive appearance and initial comfort, their lack of longevity greatly diminishes their overall value. I'd caution others considering this brand to carefully evaluate their durability expectations before making a purchase.

They're ok- not as grippy expected.

I bought these boots recently, I live in Central Washington where we get a good amount of snowfall and a few weeks into the winter season I can safely say that I am bummed these aren't performing as well as I hoped they would. I walked a quarter mile on a cold morning and slipped when I came across an ice patch. I was super bummed because the main reason I purchased these shoes was to keep from slipping on those cold mornings. The big perks are that they're easy to pop on and off. The lining is very cozy and comfy. The insole is not ideal either. My feet were screaming at me after about 8 hours of wear. I am super bummed they didn't work well for me.

Not for slippery surfaces!

I’ve been wearing these for about three weeks in the snow, ice, water, and I’ll be the first to say you will slide all over the place wearing these shoes. There is absolutely no slip resistance. I will say the shoes keep your feet dry and warm, and they are a good looking shoe, but do not purchase these thinking they will provide any slip resistance or better traction than a basic tennis shoe.

Hello Stephen and thank you for providing us with your review. We are sorry to hear the boot you purchased did not provide slip-resistance. Out boots are made with the highest grade slip-resistant SRC outsoles so this is not something we would expect to happen. Please contact our Customer Care team at 1-855-377-BOOT (2668) so we can best assist you.

Excellent for wet and cold.

So far these have been incredibly comfortable. They are waterproof and warm! I live in Minnesota and I think they are perfect for this weather. I can walk 2 plus miles and my feet feel fine.

Looks great but it's a defected product.

I bought these in a store because they fit perfect (true size 10) and I love how you can slip on and off. Also, they have great style for a rubber boot. That said, my first pair leaked within two days. I was able to return for a new pair and the replacement pair also leaks in the same place (small toe area). This is a defective product and you should not buy this. I hate leaving bad reviews. I am doing it hoping XTRATUF investigates the issue. I wanted to love these. Instead, they have wasted my time.

King of slip-on boots

Very easy to slip on and secure once on your foot. This can be difficult to achieve with a slip-on boot, but these nail it. The rubber material is completely waterproof, and the bottom tread is excellent on icy surfaces. If you live in a cold, coastal area (Maine, Alaska, Nova Scotia, etc) these will be a lifesaver in the winter months. Also perfect for use on the mountain before or after skiing and riding with the warm, insulating liner. Excellent value, quality and service. Great work Xtratuf!

Only last 3 months

I don't usually leave negative reviews. I understand that sometimes a production run is bad, and that things happen, but I've had 2 pairs of these boots that have fallen apart in 3 months or less. On top of that the warranty took longer than I had the first pair. The tread starts to rip off immediately and cracks quickly form around the flex points eventually leading to large holes in the shoes. If they were actually durable I'd give them a 5/5, but they just fall short in that field.

Too small do not size down if you’re a half size

Received as a gift for Christmas. I love the look of these. The buyer had read to size down if you wear a half size. I’m a 9.5 normally so I got a 9. These boots are way too small and crush my feet. My brother got the same boots and had the exact same issue. Boots are so tight they are making my feet lose circulation and getting pins and needles feeling in feet. Do not size down if you wear a half size. I would say if I sized up they might be fine but I’m still not sure
