Found the sizing to be consistent with my other Altras (Superior 5 and Solstice). In general, I wear a 9 or 9.5 depending on the shoe brand, and seem to be a 9.5 in Altras. Cushion is terrific. Sadly, the cut of the ankle area isn't going to work for me, as the shoes rub the lower part of my lateral ankle bones.
These waterproof shoes are awesome. However, they are the wrong size. I'm usually a size 8.5 in altras, but I will have to size down to an 8. Otherwise, they are comfortable shoes.
Loved Them, until they started leaking water around the toe area after 8 months with minimal use. They are comfortable, seemed durable, but once my feet got wet on a walk, that was it. They have not seen many wet conditions and should last longer than 8 months with minimal hours/miles.
Sale person in store recommended these after I had returned 2 pair of Altra's for being too wide. These are the original fit I think. Only pair available in my size was black with light blue laces. The bonus is they have the Vibram sole which is more durable and they are Goretex another preference. They are very comfortable for me. Altra can be hit or miss. Hopefully the Timp 5 will be around for a while and they don't mess with the fit.
I’m really liking these. They have a lot of cushion, great grip on the trails
Mostly wearing size 8 but decided to buy wider for more comfortable walk - 81/2 Wide - great look, feels comfortable.
I wore them for about an hour inside my house. They were very stiff and, after an hour, my feet hurt a lot
