Almost perfect casual shoe
The shoes are mostly comfortable, and look stylish enough for jeans or such, but definitely wouldn't pair them for any sort of dress attire - perfect for an untucked button down look. The comfort is a miss when you're walking up/downhill. The lacing/footbed does not do a good job at keeping your foot "secure" in them as I've found I can't tie them quite tight enough in that regard, so my feet slide around a little. Sizing fits normal, but if I were to go down a size my feet would feel more secure but my toes wouldn't have enough space. When on flat ground, they are very comfortable. The shoes themselves feel very durable and the soles have plenty of traction.
seven months of criminal level abuse
I have worn these shoes five days a week for the last seven months. They saw beaches in Mexico, rainforest and jungles in Costa Rica, snow and ice in Minnesota, city streets, rocky trails, salt flats, and bottomless mud holes. The uppers still look great but the material has stretched noticeably after getting wet, and I can slip them on with ease when laces are taught due to the degradation of the heel counter support material (this was not caused by improper donning). Remarkably they retain no odor, which is worth another half star. The tread shows significant heel wear, while the ball of foot has held up. It should be noted that I am very abusive to footwear, noncompliant with care instructions, and more often than not using them to tend to open fires. These would be five star if the heel support and tread held up a little better.
All around quality stylish sneaker
I like the flat foot layout and wide toe space of the shoe. The color olive was a first for me and I am happy with the color and color accents. Looks fantastic with brown, beige and khaki colored pants.
Comfy and breathable
I'm loving these shoes. They're super comfortable, have surprisingly good traction for a casual shoe, breath really well, and at $90 they're a hot deal for the quality. I have a bunch of Forsakes but I'm stoked they have a non waterproof option now. I'll be rocking these all summer for sure.
Good-looking, comfortable shoe
Bought these shoes to look a little dressier but still comfortable walking shoes for times when husband needed to walk a lot but go to business casual events. He has foot and ankle issues and loves these! He can't stop raving about how great these are to wear.
Casual comfort shoes
Its a nice looking shoe, I liked the neutral color which can go with everything except dress clothing.
Narrow fit, but a pretty good work show
After a couple of uncomfortable days breaking these in, I'm really liking them. The low and simple design works well for me. I wear these as work shoes (hospital housekeeper), so they are performing well on tile floors, mostly flat surfaces with stairwells and some ramps. I definitely feel supported and cushioned, especially in the heel and arches. Happily, they have not been loud and squeaky. On the downside, I suspect a 12-wide would be a better fit than the 13s I purchased. But buying a size up to get the proper width is an experience I am used to, especially with merchants like REI who I find lacking in their offerings of wide footwear. It helps to really pay attention to how tight the laces are all the way up and down. One other gripe is grip. On wet floors, these have little if any traction. That said, the treads dry pretty fast. As long as these don't wear out quickly, I would consider buying again in the future.
Super sneaker!
shoes look great and look like they will last a long time. my feet are a little wide and these are not wide shoes but I expect they'll be easy to break in.
Uncomfortable, returned
The top of the heel digs into your Achilles. Very uncomfortable. Returned.
