My two kids really like this tent. It was easy enough for them to set up on their own, and seems to be good quality. Tent stakes were not flimsy, and has some nice features like internal pockets. My only gripe is that it's advertised as a two kid tent- technically, both kids fit in the tent, but not really room for their bags or anything else. Still, my kids love having their own space, so it gets rave reviews from them. I also love that it easily went back into the carrying bag. Overall, a solid car camping tent for two kids if you have other space to stash gear, or a great tent for one.
This is a cute little tent that is easy to set up and fits two people under 5’5 comfortably. Pros: lightweight, easy to set up, cute design, waterproofing seems solid (we were not able to test in the rain). Cons: zippers were tricky and sticky, no spot to keep shoes dry under rainfly as it’s just an awning. We didn’t find the glow feature particularly useful. Overall, it’s a great tent and I think we will make great use of this tent over the years.
I used this tent for car camping by myself (including a 10 day trip driving to Alaska). I am only 5 feet tall, so the 36 inch height was good for me. While I had room for me and my gear, it would be crowded for someone much taller or 2 adults (or older kids/teens). It gets a bit stuffy overnight. I wish it also had a rear window for better ventilation. Zippers need to be babied, like all Coleman tent zippers they are tight. I like that the guidelines are bright yellow, so there's less chance of tripping over them. Overall, not a bad tent for the price. Has held up well in wind, rain, and even light snow.
It’s been fun having my kid help me test a product. The Wonder Lake Tent is cute and of fairly good quality for the price. It’s also roomy enough for smaller adults to use comfortably. Feature-wise, it only has one pocket… would prefer to have at least two so two kids can each have their own pocket. We could never see the glow-in-the-dark logo , but it’s not a feature we really needed. For ease of use, assembling it the first time was a little of a chore because the tent appears to have had some changes since they produced the instructions for it. The pole sleeves are longer than pictured which actually works out better because it eliminated the step that used clips on the poles. The door zipper is tight around the side/middle, seams don’t seem well-aligned to the poles… I’m hoping these things will self-correct as it’s used more… and hopefully the fabric stretches a little to accommodate. In less than six minutes for my first time, I completely took town and neatly put away the tent and all it’s accessories in the bag without moving the expansion strip… which itself is a great feature. So many times, I’ve seen products which don’t fit back into its original packaging. My kid’s job at taking down the tent was not as neat as mine and would benefit with the removal of the expansion strip. By the way, LOVE that the instructions are waterproof, large enough to see, and sewn into the bag. I’ll just take a color Sharpie to note the assembly changes and we’ll be good to go on our next family adventure. Overall, I think this tent was well-designed and executed. I think it’s a good value, but don’t expect it to compete in quality with a tent that costs several times more.
My family has used Coleman for 15+years. This is a good brand. This tent is used for a fort in my baby's room. Material is soft yet strong. Super easy and fast to put together. Good water resistant material. I highly recommend anything from Coleman.
My grand daughter loves to play in her new tent! It has room for both of us and the dog to play and sleep in it. Perfect size and easy to put up and take down. Our first adventure was in her bedroom on a rainy day.
Easy to set up, doesn’t really matter though because the zippers STINK. BOTH zippers were non-functional right out of the box. Terrible, cheap design.

This little tent is perfect for kids. Super easy to assemble it is a great way for them to get the full hands-on camping experience.
The wonder lake is a very straightforward tent for kids. It's about 6.5' x 3.5' of usable space in a dome form with fiberglass poles and a 1/4 cover rain fly. It can be a bit challenging for kids to set up by themselves because of the i-key connection between the tent and poles but with they can do most of it with minimal adult supervision. Interior height has a similar scaled down ratio to a comparable Coleman adult tent. Like most tents it's a tight fit for two late elementary aged kids and all the stuff they want to bring into the tent. But it's good for two 3/4 sized mats, kids bags, and two pillows with enough floor space for a couple battery power lanterns. There's also a wall pouch for smaller items. Unfortunately there wasn't any rain to test water resistant, but it stood strong through some moderate ≈15mph winds. It's a fun tent to have around for backyard fun or if you're car camping.
I got this for my 3 and 5 year olds just for a tent to play with around the house and they absolutely love it. They have slept in it every night for 2 weeks and have no intention of going back to their bed. I may have to move this out of the living room and into their bedroom ha. Quality material and a great price. Highly recommend!
