Great all around tent!
We love this tent! Easy to put up and take down. We survived a surprise rain and wind storm and wet the only campers still in there tent when we woke up, so that says something. Love the vestibule for extra storage or hanging out with screen protection if it’s buggy outside. We can also both stand inside the tent! All the pockets are great! Wish there was more ventilation when the rain cover is on.

You don't even get what you pay for
The main body pole attachment broke on 1st assembly. The little plastic piece that attaches the pole to the tent is essentially hot glued to the pole and breaks off at the slightest pressure, like white might happen with a light gust. You can see in the image how the plastic piece is not the same material as the pole end and is glued on by a thin layer of melted plastic. Even for the price, it shouldn't be that flimsy. Worst of all the attachment design could so easily have been avoided. Maybe the other great reviews are before they changed the design 🤷

A good tent for a few people.

The tent is really great as I’ve had it for several years now, so far everything still works amazingly. Zippers work well, there’s enough pockets, and a hook on the top for lights. It’s easy to set up! There is even like a tarp? that comes with it to cover up the screens and it mostly is waterproof! To put everything back is just as easy, there’s an option to rip the bag it comes it to expand it so everything can fit back in there. The only thing is, this feels more like a 2-3 person tent.

Cold wind invasion. Is this tent only for summer?

I could not sleep well because it was so cold inside at night with 50°F outside. Cold wind came inside from the gap between the tent's bottom part and the rainfly. If the end of the rainfly reached the ground, the gap might not have been big, keeping me from the cold wind invasion. But as you can see, the Coleman logo-printed rainfly part does not meet the ground. Was I wrong in setting up the tent? Everything I was fully satisfied. However, I did not experience the benefits of the Darkroom function because I could not sleep long due to the cold.

Easy setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent was super easy to set up. The poles are sturdy and strong. Storage bag attachment is helpful and ensures that I won't lose it. It's nice to stand up without having to be hunched over. It provided enough space for my family of five that we weren't on top of each other. While the bottom is comfortable and waterproof, and can be set up in a variety of places, we had padding to ensure comfort. It will also support an air mattress. The windows open enough that it provides air to flow through so it doesn't feel hot or stuffy. We haven't used it during rain but we have used it during the drizzle and it kept everything inside dry.

Perfect for lazy campers!

I want to sleep in when I go camping. It's a perfect tent for those with a toddler! I don't know if I agree it gets cooler than a regular tent though. I like the high ceiling as well!

Received Defective

Received a day before our camping trip with a tear around one of the stitches on the rainfly. We had to stick doctors tape over it to make sure no water seeps in during rain.

Too dark if stormy, not happy with quality.

Haven't used much of Coleman gear other than lanterns and stoves. Disappointed in the quality. One weekend use in a grassy area with a tarp under and it has wear marks on the floor. Came with an abrasion whole on the side with another spot on the seem that doesn't seem like it will last. The front entrance let's water in at the bottom zipper and doesn't pull tight enough in the front to properly shed water. And if it's raining when you enter the entrance gets wet quickly because of the design. The dark liner sounded really good and works as designed but if you have bad weather your just left sitting in a very dark tent waiting out the storm with now view windows outside. Your options are no light or no rain protection.
