I purchased and used this tent on a dry weekend(worked fine). 2nd time using this tent during a rainy weekend and it leaked from one of its pouches which left me thinking there was a bad seam. I used seam sealer adhesive and waterproofing spray and let it sit for a couple days on my deck. Finally had a rainy day and I was surprised how much the tent leaked water. I'M NEVER GOING TO BUY COLEMAN AGAIN!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a perfect tent if you want to go camping with a couple of other people. The tent can fit 4 people if you don't bring a lot of stuff with you. It has a spot to hang a lantern inside which is pretty important when you are out in the wilderness. There are two windows that can be zipped up for privacy, but they are perfect in the summertime when it is hot and you need a breeze to cool you down! This tent does pretty well with rain, but like most other tents it can get damp. A good way to prevent this is by putting another tarp under your tent. I received this product for free from Coleman and Influenster in exchange for my honest review.
Got the tent as a gift. Used the tent once for a week. Easy set up and take down. only issue is mold grew under the rain proofing tape from moisture on the threads. Requesting a replacement. Will change review if granted a replacement.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great tent!! It was sprinkling rain when we tested it out. The rain beaded up on the outside and didn’t get inside the tent. I love that there are 2 large side windows and two small windows (each with their own zipper cover) on the door. There is a loop from the top of the tent to hang a light. There are two decent sized mesh pockets under the two big windows. There is also a vent at the top front of the tent that you can open and close. This tent was SO easy and fast to set up - took 30 seconds. The take down was a little longer because of having to fit it back into its carrying case. But it still only took less than 5 mins. Along with a carting case, it comes with ropes pre attached to the tent and also comes with stakes to secure it in the ground. It says it’s a 4 person tent. But I’d say more like two adults with room or two adults and one kiddo and you’d still have room. You of course could have more people in there. It just depends on how much room each person wants. This is pretty heavy so it’s definitely not a go-hiking-into-a-campsite type of tent. Overall I highly recommend!!
I just got this tip morning in an auction and was hoping someone could help me find the part that’s needed to repair it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up the Coleman Instant 4-Person Tent is a breeze with its attached poles, taking less than a minute. I unfolded it, and within a minute, the tent popped up effortlessly. Its compact design allows for easy portability in a small pocket. The tent effectively keeps water out and provides good airflow with the built-in rainfly. Comfortable for four people, though additional gear may make it feel snug. I find it durable, but in rough weather, extra support like guy lines might be beneficial. Our family loves camping, and this tent is our go-to choice. We sometimes camp in our backyard, and I can say it's very convenient for us to enjoy the tent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is a one room pop-up tent. It’s made to fit up to 4 people. Upon receiving the tent it came in a pretty battered box with tent intact (surprisingly). It was actually a lot lighter than I anticipated and easier to assemble too. I’m 5’2 and when I stood in the tent I only had to crouch slightly but my 6’ husband didn’t fit as comfortably lol. I like how this came packaged so compact and can easily be stored away. Tent itself seems to be made from good strong waterproof material. It’s also breathable! Nice! Folded back nicely too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really looking forward to going camping but the weather where we live thought otherwise. After weeks we ended up putting this up in our living room. It was so quick, literally took like one minute! It comes in a bag that’s easy to pack it back up and has lots of room. The window and doors zip up or open with a screen and there are two cute pockets for small items you might need. I don’t think you’re getting four adults in here but two adults and two small kids would work. It’s not heavy and will be great for camping this summer!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This Coleman tent is so easy and quick to set up! The poles are all integrated in one system so it’s basically a pop-up. Easier to set up than to take down. Take down and folding is not very intuitive and although it comes with a nice carrying case, it’s a bit difficult to get it back in there once you’ve taken it out. Comfortably sleeps 2. Four people would be too tight. Large zip up panels over the screens for ventilation. Seems like good quality.
The tent sets up quickly and the optional fly installs easily. The size is nice for limited camp pads you might encounter at parks. However, this tent leaks badly. Pools of water formed on the inside floor. The seams were sealed beforehand. and the optional fly was attached. To give the tent a second chance, we used a waterproofing spray over all surfaces (including the fly) but not the screens, the tent still leaked. I am very dissatisfied with this item. If used as a day tent at a track meet or soccer tournament, you could get some value out of it, but do not count on this product for variable camping conditions.
