Good for walking but not biking
I was looking for something more eco-friendly to replace a wornout pair of synthetic shoes. Was debating between 7.5 (women's) and 8, and went with 8 based on the manufacturer’s advice to “add a few millimetres for socks”. In the end this wasn’t necessary, as the toe-box was much wider than expected and there was plenty of room behind the ankles, so I could probably have gone with the half-size down even with socks. The material was rather stiff out of the box, so the shoes weren't very comfortable for steep uphill walking or casual biking when there's a lot of ankle flexing, but otherwise they’re fine for urban walking. The insole’s on the firm side so there’s good contact with the ground, and the soles have an excellent grip.
wool shoes? sure!
I bought these on a whim because I was looking at shoes and the word wool caught my eye. They're nice enough for me to wear to work but also comfortable and good for walking in the winter with icy patches on the sidewalk. The low temperature technology won't prevent all falls, but I have noticed better grip than standard shoes on cold and snowy sidewalks.
Bedroom slipper comfort, stylish cool-weather shoe
Couldn't be happier with these shoes. They are SO comfortable, warm, and stylish. I also love how eco-friendly they are, with mostly natural rubber soles; and 200% carbon offset. They are roomy and run a bit wide; I ended up wearing a half-size smaller in these than I do most other brands. I normally wear zero-drop shoes and I don't think these are, but they are close enough to neutral foot position to suit me. I'm not sure I'd wear the boiled-wool uppers out in anything rough, but for city life, work, and casual wear these are a huge step up from tennis shoes and as comfortable as bedroom slippers. Got instant comments on them at the last social event I went to. They look quite a bit like Allbirds, but I find the footbed more comfortable with less of a pronounced heel.
Very comfy!
Bought these on sale for less than 70. I liked the boiled wool look for coziness. Charcoal color goes with everything, which is great for traveling, esp over the holidays. Very nice wide toe box, so I can wear these with heavier sox without my toes getting jammed. Not a ton of arch support, but so I will definitely need to add an orthodic for more bounce and support. Overall, very happy. .
Comfy but questionable durability
I’m enjoying the weight and fit of these but the wool is already piling so I’m not sure they will last.
Great for walking long walks
Comfy light easy to put in feet and I especially like the no new oil products used.
Width seems regular for men
I was hoping these would have wide toe box but they are just regular width for men. Great looking shoes and they seem great, but I will be returning them.
Comfortable mens shoes that fit a woman.
I came across these while looking for women’s All birds. These were mens but seemed narrow so fit me (a woman) well. They were not quite as comfortable as Allbirds but were still very comfortable and were deeply discounted.

They are very comfortable, with a little bit of arch support,and true to size.
