Pace Tracking Issue
carol525

The Enduro apparently shares a Pace tracking issue with the Garmin Fenix 6 Series watches. REI graciously (and very quickly) replaced my first Enduro with a second, as even the Garmin Product Support representative thought the watch was defective when he viewed my recorded data on Garmin Connect. The second Enduro has exactly the same Pace tracking issue. A watch that does not accurately track moving time, and hence Pace as a function of time, does not adequately support my Hike activities. More in-depth research online revealed that the Garmin Fenix 6 series watches also have this issue, and Garmin has not corrected it to date. Apparently the Garmin 7 series and Epix watches are indeed new and improved. Sadly my second Enduro watch is also being returned. All the other updated features (I have been using a Fenix 3 for five years) seem to work well and I love the fit and comfort of the Enduro wrist band. So disappointed that Garmin has not fixed this issue, or even made it "accessible information" to their Product Support team to respond to inquiries like mine. Thank goodness for REI support!

Excellent features

I bought this a month ago and have taken it with me to do backcountry hikes and the gps got us out with no problem , really great and the battery is still solid, I have charge it only once and I still have battery like for a week , so by far I’m in love with the watch . Just wish the screen was a little tougher cause I have a small scratch that don’t know how to get it out. But the rest is solid . I used to track my runs some climbs and hikes and is perfect . Very comfy to wear and the gps is so great I also use it for my job whenever I need to take coordinates and aspect of a slope I use my Garmin enduro and it works perfect . Really great watch.

#1 Enduro for Endurance Athletes

Love the Garmin Enduro. The battery life is insane. I changed it a week ago and it still has 20 days of battery life. It has all the features I'm used to from Garmin. Seamless integration with Garmin Connect. The only things I noticed were that the size is larger than I'm used to coming from a smaller 735xt, but now I'd don't notice, and the fabric watch band it comes with wouldn't be my first choice. Everything else is exceptional!

Cool

Cool. Titanium is awesome. It grows on you over time, aging like an X-Wing Starfighter with its chic battle scars. I’m almost always wearing this watch, except when charging. However, I have one request for Garmin: please don’t shorten its lifespan with software updates. It’s got a solar battery, after all. I want to keep loving my titanium Garmin watch for years to come.

Exceeded my expectations

I bought my Enduro a few months ago after looking for a watch that could last the many hours I needed to complete my Ultra. It lasted the 23 GPS hours plus many more after that. Definitely my favorite training and racing watch.
