Great tracking - Watch size/band issues
So far, in regards to fitness and lifestyle tracking, this watch is top notch! I finally made the switch from the original Venu (because I cracked the screen) and am impressed with all the new, available features. The watch design itself though is lacking a bit. I wish the 45 mm came with soft gold hardware or that there was a 43 mm option in soft gold as well. 41 is quite small and the band is laughably short - and I have small wrists. Offering up a small, medium, and large options could open Garmin up to more people of varying sizes. In the end, the watch does a lot of great things, but changes need to be considered to make this an upgrade worth the cost.
great features but somewhat inconvenient
love the watch, but i didn’t realize how many restrictions it had between an iphone connected to it. there’s many things you can’t do. for health/workout wise, it’s perfect.
Lasted a few days
I bought it and enjoyed it for a few days on a few rides Then I noticed the active minutes weren’t resetting and the user manual was not of any help at all. So I do a hard reset and that’s where the real trouble began. Lots of issues getting it to connect again. Then it got stuck on the “Finish setting up in the app” where it remains. It’s going back to REI today. I wanted to move from Apple to Garmin but in the end this really soured me on Garmin.
Great watch and fitness device
Love the Venu 4... It lives up to all the hype. I am new to Garmin and there is a learning curve but it's easy to use, lasts for more than week ona single charge despite daily outdoor exercise and looks super cool. The 45mm size fit perfectly
Defective watch
initially was so happy with my venu4. It worked so smoothly until it started crashing multiple times per day. Contacted garmin, who opened an investigation into what could be causing this. Currently stuck with defective watch while I wait for a resolution. Disappointing.
great features
I love the updated features. personally, i like the body of the 3 better because its less heavy but its a small thing. wish battery was same as 3 but 11-12 days will do. overall, i DEF would recommend.
Garmin Venu 4 is great
I purchased this watch after owning an Apple Watch for many years. I am a cyclist and use a Garmin computer so I’m familiar with their ecosystem. My Apple Watch wouldn’t even stay charged for an entire day so it was time to change. After 2 weeks use, I am loving it. Learning curve isn’t too bad.

Love expanded metrics
I'm not a fan of the new body style. I feel they could've just sent an update to the Venu3. The Venu4 from the Venu3 is bulky. I do love the expanded metrics. The shorter battery life? Not so much. I wish the 45mm had the same color option as 41.
