Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too bad the gave me 4 blisters Initially I thought I would LOVE these shoes as they were exactly what I was looking for. Water shoe I could use for hiking and in the water that was more like a supportive shoe rather than a sandal type. They fit great and true to size. The problem was that the "drainage holes" are not designed correctly. The area where the holes are is where the shoe will naturally bend thus folding the shoe inward which will rub against your foot. I ended up with 4 blisters (2 on each inner foot where the holes are). IF the holes were cut smaller and away from the lower part of the foot I think they would have been fine. It was the lower part of the hole that was the problem. The rest of the shoe was fine. SO my advice it to try on the shoe and walk around in the store for a while. If you feel a small rub on your inner foot, that's the area that will give you the blister. I felt it in the store but it was VERY slight. I didn't know it would eventually turn into a blister.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great looking but doesn't live up to its function I bought this to replace my Keen Zerraport sandals. I was looking for another hiking sandal that would function well in the hikes through waters as well as on the trails. I tested these out at the Colorado Bend State Park along the Gorman Trail and Spicewood Springs Trail. That's all I could tolerate. Unfortuntely, debris came into the shoe (not unexpected) but difficult to remove. The shoe also rubbed on my feet, no matter how I adjusted the shoelace strings, which was getting pretty uncomfortable after 7 miles. Speaking of which, it's difficult to loosen the strings and once it's tightened, you have to figure out how you'll put it away so it's not flopping against the top of the shoe. It's a great looking shoe but unfortunately, not what I'd like to take on a long hike. I tried it on in the store and seemed pleased out how comfortable it felt on. It just didn't work out when I took it outdoors in the summer for a hike.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Salomon Ellipse Cabrio Water Sandal I usually love Salomon shoes. These are very stiff sole. So much that my feet were hurting so bad. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone. It's a nice looking shoe but extremely uncomfortable.
