Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great carryall and/or purse This product replaced a 30 year old Eagle Creek predecessor. The bag is the same size as my last one with some changes. I have made the transition. I like the RFID pockets and the front pocket areas. The inside lined pocket for a tablet is handy. The rear pocket is zippered and smaller, instead of open and the full size of the back , making it a bit harder to get to papers or books stored there. I preferred the flap that covered all of the zippered pockets on the older one but this still works. I just have to remember to close the zippers. The clasp on the front is a bit tight and can be hard to open if you have arthritis but it seems to be getting easier as I use it. All in all, it is spacious but not too big, lighter weight than the old one and okay to carry everyday.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bluebags The day I bought this bag I retired a bag I'd used for 20 years, an old friend. But this new Eagle Creek is the best bag I've ever owned. It's so well made, and so mindfully engineered. All the right features. I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks so much! Michael

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Carrier: Exactly What I Wanted Eagle Creek makes quality products and the Heritage Tablet Carrier is no exception. It accommodates both my tablets easily: it is well made utilizing durable materials, and I absolutely love all the zippered pockets and other functional storage niches for my papers, and other paraphernalia (including, as mentioned) the Kindle Fire and Galaxy Note. Well done!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Great Everyday or Travel Bag I love everything about this bag. Good quality. Practical design. Comfortable. Lockable zippers. However, since I use it for travel I can't help but think about pickpockets in foreign cities, so I would love to see the bag re-designed to reenforce the strap with a thin cable, and (perhaps) the addition of slash-proof mesh between the layers of fabric.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My new Eagle Creek Bag My lovely old Eagle Creek bag finally was beginning to fray, and wear out,,,, I think I bought it at Moose's Tooth more than 15 years ago! I couldn't find another Eagle Creek bag to replace it in Lincoln, so I ordered online, and love the new bag. It will surely outlive me! My only complaint is that the clasp is very difficult for this old lady to undo with my arthritis, but there is usually somebody near who will help me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as great as I hoped... I needed the bag for travel overseas. I'm able to use it but my biggest issue with travelling is that I need to quickly access passport, tickets, money, etc without fumbling through my bag and dropping everything. This bag does not facilitate seamless check through processes. The strap separates and twists because I have to take the bag off to dig through it to find what I need. The compartments are just not intuitively or functionally placed for my usage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Travel Bag I've Bought! I love this bag and cannot wait to use it on our trip to Europe this summer! We found this bag while looking for something easy to carry all of our important items in while sightseeing, and have been very pleased with the size and quality of this item. Easy to access and secure enough to prevent theft. Love love love and would recommend to anyone who travels!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not quite perfect bag. The front flap clasp is VERY DIFFICULT for me to manage with my arthritic, not-very-strong hands, actually causing some pain. I find that I don't use it properly, opting to just pull the bottom part of the strap through the slot That Works to keep the flap closed, but it isn't really secure.

The dimensions of this bag are given as 9.5” x 12” x 3.5”. These numbers multiply out to ~400 cubic inches. So how did Eagle Creek manage to squeeze out 425 cubic inches (from the Eagle Creek webpage) or 580 cubic inches (from the REI webpage)? Tx!

The item on does differ from the shoulder bag currently shown on Eagle Creek's site. However, we do not have that information available. We encourage you to contact Eagle Creek directly.

I am looking for an all around bag for when I travel but mostly for my day to day use. Would it be appropriate to "wear" it with semi-dressy slacks/blouse,or do you think this bag is strictly casual? Can this bag take me everywhere?

Asked by: Heidi Hiker
This shoulder bag offers versatile styling for both casual and semi-formal affairs.
