Well Made and Good Looking BUT
Form follows too far behind function on this one. Two deal breaker flaws: 1) Specs say 5.9 inches wide, true only for the middle of the vertically oriented bag, top and bottom horizontal measures are 4.25 inches. You can wedge a iPad mini (5.5" wide) only at an angle within the bag expanded section. 2) If you consider a quick release for the shoulder strap a fundamental part of sling bag, so you don't HAVE to lift it over you head, hair and hat or can release it if carrying something heavy or heavyish, you will find the hardware on this bag unacceptable - spring loaded catch on fabric loop is needlessly awkward to no advantage I can discern. If wallet, phone, glasses, hankie, keys are all you need, it is a well made and good looking bag. Me, I need a small note book (A5) or iPad Mini so I will be returning.
Suuuuper nice bag. I made a video for it
This thing is great. Water resistant, lightweight, has a padded strap. The expandability of it is super useful. In its small mode it can be just enough to free up your pockets, and in expanded mode it can hold a whole lot more. Fits my kindle paperwhite with case. Fits a Nalgene. I couldn’t find any good videos online about this bag before ordering it, so I made my own for it: https://youtu.be/h7VlwTi_MBA?si=spE-1wtYwZN8EFlZ
Looks good, and easy to
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks good, and easy to use. I find that I unzip the pouch and keep it expanded all the time. Great for walking to town and keeping it light. The color’s nice, too.
Too small and impractical
Maybe it was my fault for buying this. But just too small and plastic looking. Sent it back straight away. Others may like it but just not for me.
Useful alternative to filling your pockets
Nice unobtrusive bag to carry a few things. I was very happy to see the zip that allows you to expand the bag.
