I used these gloves 3 times while snowboarding here in Utah. The gloves come with liners which have grippers on them. With the outer glove you are able to use it with a touch screen but I found it difficult pulling my phone out of my pocket with the bulky glove. The first day was at the Canyons. Weather conditions were fair, it was during a lul in a 3 day storm. The gloves kept my fingers warm the 7 hours I was up there. Day two was at Snowbird during a huge storm with whiteout conditions and wind gusts over 70 miles per hour. I decided to put hand warmers in the pockets this day. My fingers were warm for about the first 2 hours and then I started feeling the chill. The tram was shut down due to high winds so only exposed ski lifts were available. After a break at the bird feeder they warmed back up again and were good the rest of the day. Day three was at park city, it was sunny and I was almost sweating in the gloves. Overall the gloves performed very well for the conditions they were exposed to. I had to straighten out the inner liner of the glove a few times because my pinkie would not fit in the finger hole because of a jam. I did not like how short the wrist extender was because it would not fit over my jacket sleeve. No worries because I just put my jacket sleeve over the glove. You can't beat the performance for this price range but I am still up in the air about keeping them due to the performance at the bird.

Poorly made

Loved the gloves... for a week or so. Not the warmest I've owned but adequate to about 20-25 degrees. The real problem is that they are made with poor materials and sewn together poorly as well. The fake leather palms ended up ripping at every seam after about a month exposing the insulation which would then get wet. The gore Tex membrane didn't seem to block out the moisture.

Very expensive and poor performance

I bought this pair of gore-tex gloves with the expectation that the technology and quality were top of the line. After using them a few times during 3 months the fabric just gave up. Gloves are basically new but the quality is very poor. As for performance, they do not meet what they are advertised for, I'll be better of without gloves for the winter.

Pleather is falling off just after one season

I bought these a year ago during mid season the the palm side pleather is already falling off. Not just that, but these gloves do a poor job at keeping my hands warm, even with the inner glove on. I think I really made a mistake purchasing these gloves. The only saving grace is the small zipper pocket on the top of the glove that allows me to stuff money in. However, I bought these to be warm, not as a wallet.

Keeps My Hands Warm

I've had these gloves for three seasons (bought them in Mar 16), and I think they are fantastic. I've worn them in all conditions and my hands stay warm. When others are quitting the slopes because of cold hands, I can keep going. The warmer pockets are great for those extra cold days. I use the leashes with the velcro tabs on my jacket sleeves and the drawstrings on the gauntlet can be drawn tight to keep out the snow. I can't speak for the extra glove liner because I've never had to use them in the glove. I keep them with a different coat and use them to walk the dog. I love these gloves.

DO NOT invest in these Gloves

I went skiing and on day 2 these brand new gloves fell apart. The seams split on both gloves right where the poles sit as well as across the top. The tech gloves are also not tech friendly. I had to continuously take them off. Do not waste your money.

One of the worst products I've purchased for skiing. After four days the stitching started to come apart.

Makes ATV riding better

Excellent in the winter while teaching ATV rider classes. Keeps hands warm during the classes which can last around 4 hours. Excellent wind blocking qualities and hand warmer pocket is nice.

Excellent gloves

I procured a set of these gloves when I found out I was PCSing to Alaska. I initially looked into them because they're Gore-Tex, and I love their material. Waterproof, windproof, light, sturdy; what's not to love? They are touch-screen compatible, so you can still use a phone with them on (Note: the inserts do not share this capability). The inserts have a rubber pattern from zig-zagging from wrist to fingertip, making them extremely grippy. They are truly waterproof, through and through, and didn't 'wet out' even when the DWR was outmatched. The inside the shell is very soft and comfortable. These gloves hold up fairly well to the cold. They are rated for ICE COLD by Burton, but keep in mind they are gloves, not mittens, and so they are limited. I've found them to keep my digits with sensation at -15 degrees Fahrenheit. They did start to get cold at the tips after about 2 hours in that cold, but I assume that is to be expected, considering that finger dexterity is still quite high with the shells on. I recommend buying a size up, and using merino wool liners inside the insert and shell. Supremely warm.
