I wanted a warmer glove than my columbia gloves. Skiing in the Colorado 10 degree weather wasn't cutting it for the those gloves. I decided to upgrade to these since I had a giftcard. I recently skiied in lake tahoe and they worked too good. The lowest it dropped too was 20 degrees and my hands were sweating. Can't wait until next season to try them in Colder temps. I really like the big red loop that a gloved finger fits to help pull on the the glove. And the wrist loops are short and comfortable when you want to leave them off. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because snow would sometimes get in my gloves after playing or falling in the snow. Other gloves have a strap to tighten the wrist, but these only have the elastic.
I bought these for my daughter who has Reynauds disease which causes blood vessels to narrow in cold weather which causes her feet and hands to get cold. We've gone through a lot of different gloves with no success. We skied in 15 degree weather recently and these gloves are the best she ever wore. Her hands still got cold but at the end of the day. These gloves performed the best of the many we tried. We are very happy with these gloves.
Unfortunately I had to send them back due to wonky sizing. They are way too narrow across the width of my palms. I ordered a size large which in all my experience puts me right in the sweet spot of fit. Not these gloves. Length was fine but I couldn't endure the constant pressure of them being too narrow.
These are very warm gloves, so I don't think I will need liners inside. One odd thing is that the gloves feel very tight compared to other L-size ones, but I assume they will stretch out a little when I start wearing them. Also, they don't have Velcro tightening straps around the wrist.
These are sooo warm. The trigger finger allows more movement for my fingers. Better than just gloves because they allow for that movement. Better than mittens since they provide better gripping. Sizing is spot-on.
Montana Pro SG GORE-TEX® Trigger Mitts are great for playing in the snow with my 2 large German Shepherds. They kept my hands warm even at -15 her in NH. Just order 1 size larger than your normal glove size!
This pair of gloves or mittens, you're the best I ever tried. I'm a snowboarder, and yet they're pretty useful. Very stylish end durable How do you recommend this product?
The Montana Pro SG GORE-TEX® Trigger Mitts are all about top-notch insulation and weather resistance. They combine the dexterity of gloves with the warmth of mittens.
The gloves do fit snug and tough to get on. Once they're on, they are comfortable. The insulation needs improvement. -15 to -20 my pointer fingers gets quite cold.
Pretty warm and a good fit I like how the stitching is reinforced Wish it was a little warmer especially in the trigger finger and thumb
