Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as advertised I have used this multiple times, and never had an issue with it. I've even gone swimming in Eagle Creek with this hanging around my neck, and my cell phone was totally dry. It has a double seam of a zip-lock type zipper, and then a fold over with plastic clip to make sure no water enters. Make sure that the device and bag are totally dry when you put it in; a drop of water from fingertips can make it hard to use your touchscreen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ruined my cell phone I used the Seattle Sports E-Merse Original Case while swimming and the bag leaked ruining my cell phone. Not reliable. I am going to contact Seattle Sports to see if they will do the right thing and stand by their product and provide some compensation for the lost phone. I tested the product after I got home to see if it was operator error and the product still leaked during the at home test after making sure it was as sealed uo as possible. There are no holes or tears so it must be the seal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not seal Thought this would be great since I could use my phone easily through the plastic. I tested it out without my phone once I got home. I let some air in and sealed it up then put it in the sink with a few inches of water. Small bubbles came out and when I lightly squeezed it a lot of bubbles came out. Good thing I tested it before trusting it. Just returned it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Product - Should be Removed from REI I put an iPhone 5s in this with the standard slim Apple leather back case. If fit without problem and I did not need to force it. Nevertheless when I went to use the phone later that day, the plastic had torn at the seam. I reverted to ziploc bags and I can buy plenty of them for the price of this junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no good The blue plastic piece cut through the bag from rubbing after a couple of months use. This bag is inferior to a pantry variety ziplock for water protection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not to be trusted Leaked first trial during snorkeling with only 1=2' of water depth. I lost an expensive phone and very unhappy with the performance .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job. I've had years of poor luck with waterproof housings and phones. I finally took a $15 gamble and was glad I did. Granted, this is my second one. The first that I bought last summer performed remarkably well until a very small cut was made by something in my pack or a key in board shorts pocket. I like that you can retain air in the sleeve and render the package buoyant. A cool surprise was that the screen may be used underwater and underwater video looks great! I recommend using this as the first but not only line of defense. My last outing found water worked its way in through a small hole, which had the unfortunate affect of trapping water inside with your phone (bad news when even your expensive but worn out waterproof case also fails at the same time too). Buy a waterproof case, put it in this. It's the setup I'll trust for fishing, kayaking, river floating, and rock jumping. Heck, use it in the shower, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for rowing I am an active rower and it is always nice to have a phone in the boat in case an emergency comes up, or if we need to send a funny snapchat! This case is very waterproof (I particularly like the double lock system) and it is also easy to use the phone while it is in the case. Pictures also turn out great! Overall great product.
