Great case but strange location for the grommets.
I bought the medium for travel documents, cash, and occasional phone use. Very well made; retro-reflective logo; smooth, tactile closure, and effective at maintaining waterproofness. Curiously however, the grommet placement, for attaching a rope or piece of webbing, would insure that the closure is facing down (towards the ground). A very strange design choice given that people put important documents and heavy phones in these cases. While the zip-loc type closure may be tough, I just wouldn’t mount the case upside down. Similar products on the market place these grommets on either side of the zipper or closure system which is logical.
Good quality, but not size
Good tough, flexible material, and very secure closure. Undoubtedly a good quality product. But advertised as (if I recall correctly) 6.1" x 3.5", certainly dimensions larger than my phone - I double checked. What this doesn't tell you is that the opening will not admit anything rigid of that size. My phone (6.0" x 3.0") would get nowhere near passing through the opening. The size information is therefore misleading, or unhelpful at best.
Excellent case that protects my
Excellent case that protects my insulin pump while I’m riding!
Save your money.
This small size case is barely big enough to fit a typical sized iPhone in 2022 - it appears they have not updated sizing in many years. If you insist on buying, get a medium or larger. Also, the seal has some kind of oily, sticky substance on it (possibly to help with waterproofing) but it gets everywhere! I checked the others in the store and they all have this. I returned for this reason.
Too small for phone with case attached.
If you want to fit a phone with a case, you will need a larger size. Only fits and iPhone 12 or similar size phone without case.
Cheap insurance
I needed a flexible yet durable way to stay organized and protect my belongings from the elements. the E case does just that. I backpack, kayak, ski, bike and use it everyday while at work. it condenses in my lunch box to protect it from condensation or an accidental spill, but also doesn't take up excess space. The color coding, and clear case helps me stay organized, the zip lock seal is easy to get into as well as close. It has gone underwater, left in extreme heat and has had no breakdown after 2 years.
Great case
I like this case a lot, and have been using it for kayaking and packrafting here in Alaska. I had an earlier version that was both smaller (for a smaller phone than I have now) and had a little metal plug in it that you could use to use the headphone jack even while waterproofed, and that was neat but I think these simpler E-cases are better, and more universal (e.g. if you get a bigger phone, it will still fit). I love that it has the holes in the corner - I use an accessory carabiner and clip it to the deck of my boat so I can easily grab my phone to take photos or check a map as I travel. It's also helpful for keeping the phone dry on trips - I live in the rainforest in Southeast Alaska, so it's nice to be certain your phone will stay completely dry even while you (and everything else) are wet.
Delaminated in the corner
I have had my case since June 2023. I have used it 5 or 6 times to hold my iPhone while at the beach or kayaking. I used it today and discovered after it was in less 4 feet of water the bag was full of water. I was confused by what happen so took my phone out of the bag and submerged the bag in water again. It filled with water a second time. After inspection of the bag the corner on the other side from the zipper has de-laminated allowing water in. My phone is now dead as is the bag.
Great addition
Loved that you could still use the teach screen features while it was in safe keeping. My phone take on splashes, waves, and accidental submersion and faired great. The only 2 things to note are it is a bit bulky and doesn't fit in the pocket anymore. The other thing, the fit is tight. I had to take my phone out of its everyday case in order to waterproof. But then I didn't have any shock protection. Maybe just buy the next size up if you want to keep your case on.
Solid quality but make sure
Solid quality but make sure you get one that is big enough for you phone or whatever you are putting into it. Tough to insert your devise with the grabby nature of the rubber material but performs well. This one is certainly too small for a regular size android galaxy, would fit in the medium size well. My Samsung 22 Ultra is way to big to fit in the small. I think you could squeeze it in the medium but I just ended up using the large case for the last canoe trip.
