Most useful layer in my closet

I just got back from a cross country ski trip, and could t stop thinking about how much I love my shirt. I have the old version of this and it is the most useful piece of clothing I own (hopefully they haven’t changed much between this and the old one). I use it as a base layer from September to May and keep it as a warm layer otherwise. It is the first warm piece of gear that goes into my bag. It never smells, despite wearing it for days on end while backpacking. It dries so quickly and is super comfortable. After owning it for roughly 5+ years, it still looks great. I have other merino pieces that have bitten the dust and started to get threads but this one has kept its quality. Definitely will purchase again, just don’t need to yet haha.

Great base layer

For how thin it is, this offers a nice first layer to regulate moisture wicking when layering clothes. I’ve used them for snowboarding and hiking in colder climates and found they work great and are very comfortable. It’s not the softest material but I personally don’t mind the texture.

Lightweight yet warm, and avoids picking up odors after being worn a couple days in a row. I picked this up for a 6 day backcountry trip and it served me well in 40-50 degree weather
