Great active base layer
Uses: winter snowshoeing/hiking/scrambling at -5 to 10 C. Warmth: Excellent, never felt cold in these except in strong winds. The ventilated areas down the back and shoulders help to mitigate backpack sweat. This has replaced my classic thermal smartwool top for active winter trips because that top was often giving me back sweat issues. Fit: This is my only complaint about this top. It's a little short on the torso, exposing my belly to the cold when I raise my arms unless I tuck it into my pants. Otherwise it's a good, snug fit (I'm a skinny 5'7 wearing a Small). Quality: No issues yet after several uses. Good odor resistance.

Great Shirt - Runs Small

I am a woman with large hips and thighs and now a tummy. I purchased this men's top in the hopes it would fit. I love the quality of SmartWool products. I ordered a men's 2XL because the smaller sizes were out of stock. I had expected the sleeves to be too long and the body to be loose fitting. I am surprised to find that this fits snugly like a glove. The sleeves are not too long. I'm wondering if it is mismarked because it certainly is not a men's 2xl. Anyhow, I love the design and the quality and I will enjoy wearing it in the colder months.
