I have several colorblock color combinations from about eight years ago. I still wear these shirts to this day. I do take very good care of my clothing. Great shirts for wear on any occasion, indoors or outdoors. For size comparison, I am 6'4"", 200#, 38""/40"" waist and 37"" sleeve length. Size XXL fits me perfectly. Very well made merino wool clothing. Warm, wicks moisture, stay dry and no stink natural wool clothing. You just can't beat natural, merino wool clothing.

The very best! The fabric is so comfortable, feels great against skin. Colors are perfect. Medium warmth. The shirt will form fit you but does not compress. I am a senior, 5ft.8in. 170 lbs. Large fits like a warm glove. You cannot buy a better base layer shirt and I have many! I have other smart wool products and they are great as well. REI co op is an excellent company with great products and dependable service !

My son received this shirt for Christmas. The day after, he wore it to an outdoor event in Ohio in which the temperatures were in the mid 20's. He noted that the shirt kept him warmer than his normal thermals, even on the ice. Worn directly against the skin, he reported that the shirt was extremely soft and comfortable, heavy enough to provide warmth, light enough to be a bottom layer without bulk.

I'm happy I bought this. It's attractive, unique, comfortable, and will likely be durable. My reservation relates to the symbols on the sleeve. They're appliqués, not woven into the fabric like I expected. My experience with such things is that they peel off prematurely. So ??, it's not too soon.

Bought this for my 17 year old son who snowboards. He loves it. He says it's the perfect layer. He's worn it under a jacket and by itself on a warmer winter day on the slopes. The trim it really flattering. He normally wears a men's medium, but wanted a snugger fit for snowboarding. 6 foot, 145lbs

Smartwool's thermal merino base layers provide an amazing, versatile layer in your wardrobe. I use this as a base layer when skiing, but find hiking or for general traveling, I can use it as a base layer or mid-layer, and it acts as a smart wardrobe addition when going out to a restaurant or bar.

Like my favorite shirt in third grade, I wear this obsessively. It is comfortable, both physically and psychologically. The merino wool is warm enough to be outside in autumn weather, without being bulky or too hot to wear indoors. Sometimes, I even sleep in it.

I love this base layer! I love it so much that I bought two: one with the hood and one without! It is so warm and I love the design! There is nothing warmer, in my opinion, than Smartwool against your skin! I highly recommend this base layer!!
