Get it!
Great first layer for colder hikes/activities, when you are both cold and sweating. It dries very fast, even with a backpack on. I love 3/4 zip to dump heat, but also a hood and thumb holes when it gets chilly. It also doesn’t get pilly when wearing a backpack vs merino wool. I tried on the blue and the red, and the sizing was not the same, but that happens with most brands. Get it!
New favorite
I recently wore this top on a weeklong fieldwork assignment at 9,000 - 10,000 feet elevation in the Rocky Mountains and it quickly became my go-to. Perfect for chilly mornings that turn to hot, windy days. It's comfortable and shielded me from chills, wind and the sun. I was amazed at how well it worked in such a variety of conditions. It packs well and I could wear for for days without smelling. It's not a very flattering fit, but the function is top notch! I will continue to reach for this top for the backcountry:)
Runs a tad small
Great top for all activities, plus cozy camp mornings. Just know that this is a moderately snug fit. I can’t layer anything under it but a sports bra and merino tank, otherwise the armpits feel snug and the sleeves bunch a little. If I buy again, I’d size up. The breathability is good, and warmth level is good in windy, cool, but moderate conditions. The hood is snug, arms long enough, and has a trim body-flattering fit. The pink is a nice, soft feminine color.
Thinner than expected
This is more of a heavy long underwear and less of a mid layer. The fabric is thinner than I was expecting I was hoping it was thicker to wear over a tshirt. It works ok over a tight tank. It is rather tight fitting. The pink color is gorgeous. Size up if you want a looser fit.
ultimate lightest layer
bought this to wear over a tshirt for the start of a hike - perfect weight for that! have been looking for this for 2 years!! had to size up to make it roomier for layering -- if you want to wear it as your baselayer, order your regular size. overall great fit ,cut and colors.
Absolutely love this!
I bought this for that extra layer when running in cooler weather, and it is absolutely perfect! I look the hood for staying warm on the first part of my run, and the pink color is perfect. I'm usually an XS, but bought a S and it fits perfect over a think long sleeve.
Waffle-Lined Perfection
Obsessed with the new Trax Hoodie—Stio nailed it with this one. The soft waffle lining on the inside feels like a cozy upgrade without adding bulk. It’s the kind of layer you end up living in, whether you're hitting the trail or just running around town. Total win.
Trax power grid half zip hoodie
Not exactly what I thought and slightly disappointed but keeping. Fabric is scratchy and thin - overall quality for the price was most disappointing. Sizing was fine - usually purchase L and L fit as I like it. Slightly roomy but still fitted.
The perfect weight hoodie
I bought this for color - I really wanted something pink, a true pink and not mauve. This one is close but still a little muted. It fits so nicely and isn’t too warm and bulky so I kept it. I wear it for yoga when it is chilly it be mornings.
Love but be careful
This zip is great, lightweight, and warm. Unfortunately after wearing three times, I put it in a dryer at a laundromat and the heat burned several holes in the polartec/polyester fabric.
