Warm and dry even in moderate rain!
I bought this to wear in Portland during winter runs (around 45-55 degrees) and just tested it out. When I left the house it wasn’t not raining and lo and behold, started to rain quite hard during my run. I was nervous, as I did not intend to wear this during significant rain ; however I was PLEASANTLY surprised! I didn’t get wet and I was out there for about an hour. I probably wouldn’t wear it if it was truly pouring but it kept my warm and dry and I did not feel overheated. Hood is a nice shape and the zipper didn’t bother me. The inside is lined with this super thin fleece like fabric—hard to describe, it’s like very very lightly lined, which I love. Super impressed! Also dig the color; wanted something relatively bright so people would see me but not fluorescent and this fit the bill. I purchased a size small and I’m 5’6, usually a 6. Not tight at all on the hips (my usual issue with Patagonia and Arcteryx.
Perfect!
Wonderful windbreaker with a nice light warm lining for cold runs. Great hood as well.
Good, but not quite as described
Just received. As advertised, lightweight and seems quite warm. But it really doesn't pack well in the hood - I'm going to use a stuff sack. Also, the yellow that is so pretty in the photos is more greenish in person. Sizing seems right.
