Versatile favorite go-to
This is perhaps my favorite winter piece for both functionality and versatility. I primarily use it for skate skiing and it's my go-to when the weather is going to change or I'm not sure which weight jacket I will need. The lightweight fleece lining makes it a little warmer than most nordic ski jackets, but it's highly breathable and doesn't have insulation that will make you sweat. Depending on how I layer, this weight jacket works from about 15F - 28F for me. Which can literally be a 3 hour period in Colorado. Other differentiator with this piece: the pockets. Swix is really smart with the storage space and this piece has a lot of low profile places to stash a phone, keys, snacks, a buff, whatever you might need. Color is also awesome. I ordered the dusty purple and was pleased that it was even more vibrant in real life than online. Just a great piece that can also be used for snow shoeing or running in single digits.
