I live in Montana and wear jackets most of the year, and this jacket is nice for spring or fall. I bought the sage color back in the spring, and I love it so much that I bought it in black and mint as well. I wish there was a plum or burgundy color since I wear jackets in all 4 seasons. I got a size that was roomy enough for layers underneath. Most importantly, it is soft and doesn’t make that awful swoosh noise like a lot of other lightweight jackets. I love the tapered sleeves and thumb holes as well as the zippered, roomy pockets. The cut is very feminine as well.
Nice lightweight jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great jacket with rounded sides and rear. The rear of the jacket is taped so it covers my bottom. I wanted a jacket like this so when I wear it on trips I can sit without concerns about staining my clothing or getting a wet bottom if there is a light rain. The material is soft on the inside and outside of the jacket; it not noisy, and the neck zips up to give more protection/coverage. My only wish is that Columbia would put a zip pocket on the chest of their hooded jackets for women. I personally need more than just the two zip pockets for my hands.
light jacket
I have not purchased the jacket yet and really wan to. I tried to ask a question but could not submit it in the Q/A section. So have to ask my question here: Is the material breathable? In other words, would you feel hot and stuffy in it? I plan to wear it in normal weather as well as in light rain. Thank you.
