Snug!
I read the reviews and knew this would be a tight jacket. I'm normally a medium and bought a medium. I'm able to wear it with a knit cardigan under and zip up, but it is a tight fit. If you are in between I would go up. I am happy with this jacket. I really like the four zippered pockets and removeable hood. There's an option to cinch the waist and hood. The wrists also have velcro to tighten. I bought this for work and travel. It seems like a great jacket for urban exploration, maybe not technical hiking. It was fine in the 20s F, I wouldn't want to wear this if it was much colder.
Great, except the arm cuffs
I like the coat, a lot! It would have 5 stars if it was not for the dang sleeve cuffs, however. I'm not sure how they got past product design but the velcro wraps almost entirely around the sleeve and the piece that should cover it can only reach all the velcro if you close it without room for your hand. I end up getting all my shirts stuck on the velcro. It's very annoying. The fit is great however, I see one review says it's designed probably by men but I disgree - the fit cinches around the waist in a flattering fashion but still has room for layers under and I find it perfect for Denver's 20s-50s days especially when it gets windy and you want some coverage on your legs. Boulder Gear - if you're reading, just fix those cuffs!

Love this jacket!!! Perfect for cool/cold, rainy weather. Super comfortable - the inner fleece is very cozy and the outer shell has a little stretch. Great length, very flattering. Not bulky like a parka. Pockets are well-placed, and zipper works well. Runs a little small. I bought the large and am typically a size 12. Would not want it any snugger. Great if I’m just wearing a blouse/shirt under it, but it would be tight with a sweater underneath.
Great 3 season jacket or winter layer.
Purchased this soft-shell jacket to be a 'lining' for a lightweight coat. It's slim, long cut works perfectly. While the fit is slim, I can easily layer a light shirt/sweater under it. I love the two way zipper, hood and zip pockets. For reference I am 5'8", 140lbs somewhat curvy, with broad shoulders and long legs. I purchased the medium. Good price on sale. Haven't worn it yet so can't comment on durability.
