PNW perfect

Fantastic everyday jacket for PNW rainy, cool winter weather. Microplush lining throughout, including sleeves and hood, gives just enough insulation so at 40F I can get away with a t-shirt, and loose enough to layer with a light sweater for colder weather to 30F. No inside pocket, regular pockets are roomy and lined. No hood drawstring or way to cinch tight so on windy days a scarf and/or hat will be considered. The softshell is a little more polished than I like to take on hikes, but this is a great in-between jacket when the weather isn't serious enough for a full length parka and needing more insulation than a simple shell. So many jackets have stopped being made with a liner so I'm glad North Face is still keeping a cozy option.

So comfy!

I absolutely love this jacket! I live in Florida and while we don't have much a winter to speak of, this is the perfect jacket for those few cold days we do have. It fits great and doesn't look like a sack of potatoes, plus it blocks the wind and seemed to repel rain when we got caught out in a quick rain shower. Also, I love how soft and warm the lining is. It does run a little small, so make sure to size up if you plan on wearing bulky clothing underneath.
