These are the best winter boots i have had in a very long time. Warm, comfortable, and great traction. Highly recommend these.
I cannot recommend these boots more highly. I have tried so many boots since I moved to AK two years ago and nothing could keep my feet warm. I use them to walk the dog, go into town, or short hikes. My feet are so warm and they are very comfortable. Slip on easily, look cute. 5/5 would recommend!
Bought the boots as winters have become much more icy. They grip a bit better than regular boots but still slippery on full ice. I bought a size up as reviews were saying a bit snug, I'm usually a 9 so went 10 and find them a bit big but I can easily fit thicker socks in. Would exchange but the wait for delivery to know if the 9 is better is discouraging. They feel quite warm that I feel the negative Temps won't be bothersome.
I have the coldest feet of anyone I know. But bare feet into thermal socks and these boots and I've been good for up to 2 hours in Canadian winter! Also, a lot of boots are too heavy or don't grip my foot well, so I end up with foot/toe cramps after hiking around in them - not with these! My only drawback is they are not grippy on ice but kinda slippery, but then, short of metal cleats, how is a boot supposed to grip on ice?
Really great, warm boots. I’ve added thermal insoles into a size larger and have many years of suffering with cold feet (circulation issues) I now have warm feet. The grip seems to be okay. I wear them to walk a bunch of dogs in the woods daily. Ottawa is the coldest capital of the world right now and I’m happy to report that with all of our snow and -25 temperatures my feet are warm and dry. And comfortable!
I am surprised at how much I like these boots. A perfect mix of warm, waterproof and lightweight. The sole is also flexible, making it easier to get a grip in slippery/snowy conditions. And they last! I'm hard on boots so I bought a second pair, but the first one is still going strong! It's great to put them on and know your feet will feel warm, dry and comfortable, whatever you have planned.
Bought these boot to feel safer walking on snow - and the inevitable patches of ice hidden under the snow. I had these on this morning walking through our first 12 inch snowfall and each step was a solid one that packed down the snow. I also walked on our plowed gravel driveway and felt confident walking on the slippery patches of compacted snow. Stayed warm and dry the whole time.
Hello and thank you for providing us with your review. We are happy to hear you are satisfied with the boots you purchased, and we hope you continue to be a Muck Boot Company supporter!
I wish I could have tried these boots on in a store. When I had to order online, I ordered the same size as my old Muck rain boots - size 8. They were painfully tight, even with my thinnest socks, so I had to return them. I would have tried a size 9 if it had been available. I am very disappointed, these seem to be just what I wanted - warm and waterproof.
I bought these thinking they laced up the front. When I got them I realized that they did not and with my high instep could not get them on. I tried to return them and got no service from the company. I eventually cut the front open in order to wear them. I like the traction but obviously there are problems
I traditionally wear a size 7, so I ordered a size 7. They were tight at 1st but not too tight. I was skeptical initially and considered returning them for a bigger size but I'm glad I didn't. They are so comfortable and warm. I think they did stretch out a little. They are perfect. I love them.
