These boots are warm and comfortable. The tread is grippy enough for navigating the unplowed streets of central Ohio, which is what I bought them for. They will also be good for local hikes in the snow, ice and mud this winter. I always worry about blisters but have felt nothing but comfort on 3 mile jog/walks I've been doing with my dog. At first try on I thought they were too small, but I walked around inside for a day and they were the right size.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The boots are a nice colour very smart looking, only worn once for a short walk and have kept my feet warm and dry, will be able to comment better when I go on my longer hikes so far so good I usually get a size 4.5 but sized up to a 5 after reading other reviews so glad I did
These are the most uncomfortable boots I’ve ever worn. The pressure points on the ankles are painful. I wear a lot of Adidas and these are terrible. I honestly don’t know how they passed quality control. Could not return them fast enough.
I love the look of these and wanted them for the gortex, but they were too small. They run small. I’m consistently a women’s 8 in adidas but these were tight.
Happy with purchase. Will shop again with REI. I like the shorter style. Comfortable walking the dog and to from work. Feet warm and I use alpaca winter socks in NY.
I will definitely buy this hiking choose again. You can use in summer and winter. It my first hiking shoes that I purchased.
I got this on 50% off and I was actually shocked with the quality and the level of comfort. inside very warm and perfect for winter in Canada.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My second terrex I got. But bow with the gore tex update. They are very comfotable. I need to try it with snow, but I think the’lo do it great
I usually get 6 1/2 for adidas shoes, but this one runs small. Size up. Also, they hit the ankle in a weird way and hurt. I’m returning them.
Great weather defense, make walks on the snowy mountains easier.
