The quality of this shoe is disappointing and not worth the money. It started tearing apart on the side after just 3 uses but unfortunately due to the fact that I have owned them for a little over a year, they no longer qualify for the limited warranty. As a long time customer of North Face, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the shoe and will NEVER purchase a pair of shoes from this brand again. There are too many options in the market for shoes that are way better quality or ones that have much better warranty. My last pair from Oboz lasted 8 years and the only reason why I upgraded to this pair is because I wanted to try something new. Looks like I should have stuck with a trusted hiking boots brand instead of this poor quality of a product.
I have always worn Hoka 10.5 which with a rocker sole are good for my problematic feet. I was glad to see North Face also came in half sizes for women’s larger sizes, and ordered the same. they were too small, Upgraded to an 11. I think they must have a very narrow toe box because I have had irritation in a toe that was squeezed by it. I bought because water proof, rocker sole, insulated sounded like a dream. They look nice, but they are a big disappointment. And 11 is the largest women’s size.
I've had these boots for a year. I wear them out in the woods, feeding the chickens, to the store, I haven't had any issues with light snow/ wet ground. No rips or crazy wear.
they always look dirty and hard to clean in cause of this type of material and I do not like the shape but they are water resistant, beside that very comfortable and falling small, I would size up if you want to use thicker socks.
I use these in snow and they are the first comfortable boots I have had in a long time. In person, the heel looks lower, but the rocker bottom is there and feels cushioned and stable. Recommend wool or other wicking socks.
These are very comfortable and warm right out of the box. They are lightweight and wide enough for my bunion with great traction. When the laces are undone, they are super easy to take on and off.
So comfortable and amazing ankle support for hiking in all terrains. Super warm.
