Awesome battery life,health/sleep tracking andGPS!

I purchased this so I would not need to charge my watch daily, every other day, or even weekly. This watch is so much more from the ability to leave my GPS at home to being able to track sleep. I’m very impressed with this watch and only wish I purchased it sooner The flashlight is shockingly bright, adjustable to dimmer settings, and also can be set to red to be even less disruptive Oh, it’s also an amazing smartwatch. Adjustable faces, and intuitive to use. While holding a battery life well over 20 days ( not hours) this watch is getting phone notifications, running timers, using alarms, and tracking daily walks with GPS.

Very Good Overall

I've had the watch for about a month and really like it. The battery life is awesome and I don't think the solar is even being used since it's winter and I wear long sleeve shirts for the most part. The various watch faces that are available are a plus, especially the ones that are available online. The large size of the watch is a good thing and a not so good thing. The data is easy to read for the most part but the large size makes it hard to sleep with for me. This is just personal issue and not a flaw of the watch. The Garmin Connect app is very good. I hope it keeps on getting updated. Thanks

Workhorse Watch

I've been running Fenix X watches for years now with ZERO problems. They are my "daily driver" watches and when I say daily, I mean D-A-I-L-Y. These things very rarely have left my wrist - sleep, shower, workouts, hunting trips, backpacking trips, triathlon (that one miserable time ;) ), runs, mountain biking, snowboarding, surfing...you name it, this watch has been there and done that! The only downside I see is the proprietary charging connection. I'd love to see a wireless charge option on the next iteration. Other than that, this is the series of watch I will wear for the rest of my life!

Nice upgrade from 6X Pro

Had the 6X for a few years and loved it. Bought the 7X Pro solar to get a few more metrics on health and measurements from my running and cycling. In a nutshell, easier to download music through my provider, nice wake-up synopsis of sleep metrics and readiness for training, each mile ran there is an auto voice call out for time. Sprint workout calls out meters ran per rep. Too many measurements to list but they are all helpful once you understand the parameters of good and not so good. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fitness watch that delivers huge in the way of metrics and ease of use.

Great watch, however battery not reliable

I have the watch for 6 month now, and overall is a great and reliable watch, I am using for all my sport activities and used it on a long expedition trip in the Rocky Mountains. For the past 4 month the battery is not reliable and is not lasting more than 5-7 days. It is not connected to Wifi or Bluetooth, the Pulse ox is not running continuously I am on the lower accuracy for the GPS and still the battery is draining so fast. Initially it literally lasted 3 weeks, now barely 1 week, even if I am not using it daily. The solar part is almost inexistent and once on my long hiking trip it did not help at all re-charging. The watch lasted only 3,5 days on my expedition witch was verry disappointing.

Best digital equipment I have ever used

I would t consider myself great at anything outdoors or fitness related. I am good at a lot of things. This watch fills in a ton of gaps. I bought it because a YouTube reviewer said it changed his life. If you use it right it could definitely change your. The general fitness function are available on many other products but on this device they are next level. The sleep tracker and training scores are my favorite in that regard. The hiking and backpacking features are also next level. The battery life is tremendous. I can't imagine ever outpacing this device based on the level of available information. It is definitely overkill for the average user, but it can transform you into above average if you buy in. Thank you, Garmin!

More than you need, everything you want

Switched from an Apple Watch, which I had to charge every night, to this watch that I haven’t charged since I got 3 weeks ago. Out of the box it had 77% battery and still I haven’t had to charge it! I wear it for everything, workouts, golf, sleep, etc. it’s easy to use and works awesome with the connect app. This watch gives so much useful feedback and info. It is better than I expected and the built in flashlight is so much better than my phone light. Definitely recommend buying and honestly it is a great value at this price point.
