Easy to apply, significantly darken leather
Just applied the first time to my Danner Mountain 600's. My boots were just under a year old and had ~125 miles on them and I had not done anything to condition them. The leather was starting to show signs of drying out, and since I look my boots I wanted to do something to condition and restore the leather, so they didn't start to crack. I removed the laces and the wax went on super easy using a small narrow horse hair brush slightly larger than a toothbrush. The wax does significantly darkens the leather, which the can warns you about. I was prepared for this based on other reviews, and for me I actually prefer the darker leather, but not all people may feel the same way. I suspect the leather will lighten over the next week or two, and end up somewhere in between the before and after, but this is just a guess. I've attached a picture showing the difference in color after applying the wax to the first boot.
