Great product & easy to use
I have an old English wax jacket that I almost threw out as it looked "tired & worn". But I decided to re-wax before I trashed it. This wax brought the jacket back to original looking condition. You just apply the wax by brushing it on the fabric & then take a blow dryer to melt it into the fabric. I gave it 2 coats of wax per instructions and it did take a few hours but was well worth it.

10 dollars < 15 dollars
This works but it is bizarre to buy something for 15$ that shows up with a $10 price tag

Great for hats

Great for hiding sweat stains in hats. Some hats are really bad about showing sweat stains. This wax solves that problem. 1) Clean hat using a 'hat cage' in a dishwaher. 2) Air dry 3) Rub wax bar all over hat - it's going to look chalky/streaky/terrible. 4) Put the waxed hat on a shoe drying rack in your dryer. Run it on low for 15-20min. 5) Wax melts in evenly. Hat is now a half shade darker. Any sweat stains that the dishwasher didn't take out are now hidden. As a bonus the wax will also prevent sweat stains in the future.

Works well for waterproofing cotton.

Easy to use, excellent quality. This works for waxing regular cotton, you don't just need to use it with their proprietary fabric. I waxed a cotton jacket in order to have a light summer rain jacket and it works great. I am a small woman, so I was able to get away with using just one bar, but I'd recommend two bars if you are a regular sized adult and/or if you want to get fabric to a high level of water resistance.

Goodenough to improve regular jeans too!

lol Waterproofed my Wranglers. Used it first to re waterproof some snowboarding gear. Then used it on my Wrangler Jeans. Helps bring back color and improves durability. Way better and easier than starching but doesn't give the rigidness of starching. I hand rub it on then used a heat gun to melt wax in. Make sure to do in a ventilated area and it may set off fire alarms. Don't know the science behind it but it does (No I'm not burning the jeans). One bar goes a long way.

Birthday present

I gave this to a friend as part of his birthday present, including a Fjallraven backpack. He lives in a tropical climate so I thought this would prove to be useful and he says it does!

Follow the directions for great results!

It does take time to apply the wax but it goes on smoothly. One bar waxed two pair of Stina pants with plenty left over. After heating in the dryer on medium heat, the pants came out beautifully, with no steaks or discoloration, only a slight darkening, which did not take away from the overall look of the pants. Again, follow the directions! Applying on a smooth surface with even strokes is key. My pants repels water nicely after one application. Don't expect waterproofing, as that's not the intention, but if you're caught in a light rain, waxing provides extra protection. Superior to other wax I've used. I could not be more pleased! Once again, quality product from Fjallraven!

Recommended for new Fjall Raven outerwear

Bought the wax to use on my Fjall Raven pants. When applied, it did keep rainwater from soaking into my pants. Applying it evenly takes a lot of practice. Watch videos on-line and be willing to spend some time with trial and error applications. It is very difficult to damage the pants while you determine how much wax is enough. I still wore rain pants when the rain got really heavy.

works great!

Used to waterproof my pants. It took me about 30 minutes to apply two coats, using a hairdryer to melt the wax. It worked great! It does make the pants stiffer, and it washes out in one wash, but it’s that’s to be expected.
