Great product & easy to use
I have an old English wax jacket that I almost threw out as it looked "tired & worn". But I decided to re-wax before I trashed it. This wax brought the jacket back to original looking condition. You just apply the wax by brushing it on the fabric & then take a blow dryer to melt it into the fabric. I gave it 2 coats of wax per instructions and it did take a few hours but was well worth it.

10 dollars < 15 dollars
This works but it is bizarre to buy something for 15$ that shows up with a $10 price tag

Great for hats

Great for hiding sweat stains in hats. Some hats are really bad about showing sweat stains. This wax solves that problem. 1) Clean hat using a 'hat cage' in a dishwaher. 2) Air dry 3) Rub wax bar all over hat - it's going to look chalky/streaky/terrible. 4) Put the waxed hat on a shoe drying rack in your dryer. Run it on low for 15-20min. 5) Wax melts in evenly. Hat is now a half shade darker. Any sweat stains that the dishwasher didn't take out are now hidden. As a bonus the wax will also prevent sweat stains in the future.

Works well for waterproofing cotton.

Easy to use, excellent quality. This works for waxing regular cotton, you don't just need to use it with their proprietary fabric. I waxed a cotton jacket in order to have a light summer rain jacket and it works great. I am a small woman, so I was able to get away with using just one bar, but I'd recommend two bars if you are a regular sized adult and/or if you want to get fabric to a high level of water resistance.

Goodenough to improve regular jeans too!

lol Waterproofed my Wranglers. Used it first to re waterproof some snowboarding gear. Then used it on my Wrangler Jeans. Helps bring back color and improves durability. Way better and easier than starching but doesn't give the rigidness of starching. I hand rub it on then used a heat gun to melt wax in. Make sure to do in a ventilated area and it may set off fire alarms. Don't know the science behind it but it does (No I'm not burning the jeans). One bar goes a long way.

works great!

Used to waterproof my pants. It took me about 30 minutes to apply two coats, using a hairdryer to melt the wax. It worked great! It does make the pants stiffer, and it washes out in one wash, but it’s that’s to be expected.

Birthday present

I gave this to a friend as part of his birthday present, including a Fjallraven backpack. He lives in a tropical climate so I thought this would prove to be useful and he says it does!

If you’re wondering, better go somewhere else

[BLUF] If you hope this $10 wax bar will make your already expensive jacket highly water repellent/resistant (not even waterproof), you’re already on the wrong side of the business. You should have purchased Eco-shell jackets or Hydratic jackets. [TL;TR] Since I have a Fjällräven jacket with G-1000 fabric, I bought this Greenland Wax thinking that it will add water resistance as well as wind protection. It takes some time to apply the wax on the entire jacket, especially if multiple coatings are applied for better weather protection. I tried it on a rainy day and it did hold rain for a couple of minutes. Of course, it may be better than just G-1000 itself, but the results are terrible. The jacket gets heavy and unbearable once it’s soaked with rain. Please use this piece of wax on your jacket when the zipper gets sticky sometimes, not for the weather protection.

Wax

This wax is harder to apply on the fabric. It works really well on coarser material. Once you heat the fabric it soaks in very nice. It does not leave an oil residue like other oil wax products.
